Hungarian IIRC, can't see/hear the coldness myself, but I work with lots of foreigners in the building game.
Just imparting facts, not sure how much emotion you'd expect, but I'm a bloke.

I'd be glad of someone like her on the front door of the hospital if i had to go in one. She knows her job and does it very efficiently. I dont think she sounds cold but i do think sometimes an accent comes with some presumptions on the personality.

that reminded me of going to see my dad in hospital when he was dying of a stroke ... those machines, the trachotomy, that expression ... not nice

Kings is in Camberwell
Cockney is born within the sound of bow bells, miles away.

I went when John was talking about his wife.

Just watched on line.Really glad this is back and I thought this was a fantastic first episode.

So glad everyone made a recovery as a couple of cases looked so serious.

I didn't think Katalina was cold at all, in fact during a couple of the interview clips she looked as if she was near tears.

Loved Chris bless him. Someone I work with is very like him - in fact the way that they speak is almost identical (intonation and the types of phrase they use) and my colleague could also be viewed as somewhat eccentric. He too is basically a very sweet person, just a little less 'average' than most.

The two cousins were just fabulous and had me laughing my head off. "Well it was a day out anyway". They also had me rather misty eyed when talking about their wives.

Long may they drink at the club (and hopefully no more trips to A&E for a very long time).

Katalin, the Hungarian Doctor, is a Gem and an absolute delight.

Every request to medical staff was courteous, with Please & Thank You.

Lovely accent, she can be my Doctor / Wife anytime !
