The doctor didn't seem very comfortable talking to Kevin and his mother.

Checked in very late to see Malcolm Tunnicliffe is in charge this week.
His boundless enthusiasm for what he does is a little odd (someone has to get hurt) but his heart is in the right place.

Poor, poor Ernest.

I hope the bastard who did that to him rots in hell, how can they live with themselves?

I am always in such a wreck after I watch this show. I wonder sometimes why I watch it but it just made me so upset that the person who killed Ernest could just leave him and run away.
RIP Ernest

Re Ernest ...Here was a man who served his country and survived to tell the tale. Who supported a family and contributed to society. Who at 93 was still active enough to walk 2 miles to get his pension. I hope the 'person' responsible for his death is choking on their guilt and is brought to justice very soon.

That left me in tears, don't suppose it helps that for the past couple days i've been really missing my gran who passed away aged 96 few years ago.

How anyone can do a hit and run i dont know, especially on an elderly person, just disgraceful.

What a complete bastard, that driver was. How can he/she live with themselves?

The little old lady with her son who had learning difficulties, she was so sweet what a lovely lady and so supportive of her son!

Didn't do that with mine, toshed another bandage on it and sent me off until Monday for plastics out patients.

Then again mine was probably a 3rd the size of William's cut and on the fingertip.
Had to lazer lumps out of it so it would stitch back together.

Silly beggar William, should have had more anaesthetic.
Bleedin multiple injections of that going in, hurts worse than when you split it open with a cut or crush, I can tell you.
Dappy Doctors 'Is that still hurting?'
'Nah, the writhing around and go OFFS!! is normal.

Amazed in this day and age, with cctv everywhere, that they could get this Hit and Run driver.

But wasn't the case, Kevin and his Mum, look after each other....a very nice Man...and Tall.....and his Doc was HOT.

There is a time, when people are injured where a laugh helps, but his Girlfriend was having the opposite effect, it wasn't funny.

And Williams Finger......was it just me, or did anyone else what to see it, when he was talking to camera, after the event, fixed.

How sad to hear his mother say she hoped he died before her though. Can only agree with all that's been said about Ernest and the callous sod who left him in the road

Was trying to hold back the tears until they showed that photo of Ernest from his younger days. What an awful, violent way for him to go. I can't believe any hit & run driver cannot be caught these days, with CCTV everywhere.

I thought the nurse was good with Kevin, he clearly liked her and felt comfortable after his initial nerves, so that's the main thing.

CCTV isn't everywhere people, stop saying that, its factually incorrect, and you know it.

I couldn't see what was wrong with the Doctor who saw Kevin, it's similar to seeing a small child, sometimes you need the parent to interpret the child's responses or non-responses.
I was focused on Kevin and his Mum, so she can't have appeared that poor to detract from them.

In small towns, villages, i agree, CCTV is not "everywhere" as i said a little too literally, but it is certainly outside Kings and on Denmark Hill, unless the cameras were faulty at the time, which is a different matter.

Even in London, CCTV isn't everywhere and that's a fact.
He wasn't hit on the Hill in front of the Hospital or they wouldn't have bothered with an ambulance, they could have wheeled him across the road.
He was knocked over in Grove lane, according to the BBC (I looked it up), in the street shots it looked like a wide residential street anyway, off the main drag before I looked it up.
Once you get off the Main roads and avoid council estates it's not hard to drop off the CCTV map, despite the number of cameras about generally.

Catching up on this now. Ernest.

I hope karma exists. What a horrid way to have such a productive life, any life for that matter, put out.

I know it just about is, they even have them on the outside of buses, and not just the front...side too.
