If you want to believe CCTV is 'just about' everywhere, go ahead, whatever makes you happy.

I've just caught up with the past two episodes and I was willing Ernest on. I do hope the person who hit him has nightmares about this every single day of their lives. What a disgraceful thing to do to an elderly gentleman. Just leave him to die. Cowards I tell you

I may have to watch tonight's episode when I'm in a calmer frame of mind

I'm watching 'live' too for the first time in weeks.

That poor boy is in a right mess, the doctor tonight is very calm and assured though

If I wouldn't want to be in resus if I was the Dad while all that was going on, my nervous energy and bobbing about would put them off.

The kids here all get 50cc motorbikes at 14, Some of them are right little idiots on them and in the summer they just seem to wear minimal clothing..Horrid to see what happens when they come off them.

She's great! I like Emer too, but there's something very dry about Jen that just makes me smile.

I know what you mean, but I agree with the point that Jen made - anything can happen at any point, and if you live your life constantly afraid of what might happen, it's not really living. My dad is (well, was, he's retired) a mountain guide and ice climber. He did very very dangerous things, but using common sense and safety precautions, and without climbing, he wouldn't have felt alive, he wouldn't have been himself.

Me included!

Many yeas ago when I was 18 I came off mine and broke my left leg in two places. (Tibia) I needed an operation where they screwed it all back together with a metal plate.

Two years later they removed the plate and screws which I still have to this day.

4 weeks in hospital when you are 18 is like a lifetime. Not to mention the 6 months on crutches, which I became something of an expert on.

I'd guess all parents see the multitude of potential accidents everywhere like Emer.
I'd guess most get to the Sister Jen point '$hit happens and sometimes does no matter what you do'
I my case I learnt early to blank certain things out, because the almost constant stomach twinges to nigh on everything the child did was making me feel ill.
'Worrying about it won't stop it and won't help'

BTW Cloda(sp) is doing well after half a bottle of Vodka, maybe she really isn't a falling over drunk type.

Look A-hole! They have enough to do without playing stupid games with silly people on drugs and drink.

I couldn't do the job as I'd just tell them all to go away using different words.

Yes doesn't the name give them a clue?

When has the word 'coma' been associated with something or anything good?
