As soon as she said "de-gloved" I thought "gosh, I hope that's not what I think it is". And it was

I can't speak in Dalvin's case, but one of my brothers had a similar gash on his upper arm back when he was in college, right down to the bone, and had to have a skin graft (in which they cover the gap with new tissue. I was going to Google to try and find you a link but the pictures alone made me go "OH GOD NO" so I'll leave that to you

The placing of Dalvin's wound worried me more - right on his knee, ouch. He mentioned something about not being able to run (?) in the end credits so maybe he's having physio as well.
