People, people, please.
Bleedin Mothers meeting.

Lost my train of thought now...

Here is our little Strictly Baby

This poor lady looks just like my friend Jenny, who also had cancer which spread everywhere. She died 7 years ago after a 16 year fight

So sad. For the ones who are going to be left behind it never ever seems like the right time to say "Goodbye" even when you know that you have to let your loved on go because they are so very tired and can't fight any more.

She has that look in her eyes which just says ''i've had enough of all this''.
It really gets to me how we wouldn't let one of our pets suffer on in the same way that we do with terminally ill patients. I know every case is different but my dad had to endure so much pain and confusion in the last few days despite being on a lot of morphine and it would have been so much kinder to have been able to help him die peacefully. Having said that, he had a similiar infection 3 months before he died and was in a right state, but recovered from that and although weak and in pain, was mentally competent and with a reasonable quality of life for a while afterwards. It was just that last week that was torture to watch.

Aw Yorkie that's so sad *big hug*. Sometimes I think staying alive is often more for the family's best interest than the patient- once you've accepted you're going to die, hanging around in pain seems futile I guess?

Hi Guernsey! Hope you're well? Gilly, she is just precious!

I had the same with my friend, as I mentioned above. She fought cancer for 16 years, then caught MRSA from the hospital and that took her from us.

It's a bloody awful disease and the sooner we find a treatment or cure, the better

Sad is an understatement, it's awful to watch. She just looks so sad, like it's all getting too much.

I thought the same initially.
She perked up a bit there right after the break, talking to her daughter and niece?
I don't think we're in any position to decide on who wants to stay or go here, she's in resus afterall.

Like Yorkie said, sometimes they look like they're at death's door but then they get better and be ok. You remember Jane Tomlinson who had terminal cancer for 7 years but was reasonably fit and healthy for most of it? She ran marathons! I guess we'll find out. But I do agree, often the relatives are the one that find it hard letting go.

Aw Olivia! So cuuute!
