Another great episode and I thought the Dad looked like Robert Bathurst soon as I saw him
That wasn't snow but just a bit of sleet. Do they really get so little snow in that part of London?
Robert Bathhurst??

I liked the opening aerial shot, I'll have to record just that bit, spot bits I know.
The never tell us where Hems lands, it's got to be in the park behind/up the hill, well using my leaky logic.

– "When it snows it can get very very very very busy."

I don't think I could ever work in in a paediatric unit, regularly seeing children who have damaged themselves and are going to have to live with it for the rest of their lives. But I'm glad someone's there to do it.
They were topping Kevin up on Red Bull last series, suspect it makes no difference he just thinks it does.

is it just me but does the dad look a little like a younger Hugh Bonneville
I thought he was like Hugh's character in Twenty Twelve, trying to be very efficient in a crisis! He was a nice guy, but i didn't like all the "daddy will save you" talk, although he was probably doing it more to reassure himself. I liked the nurse's approach about not lying to kids when something might hurt, so they don't lose trust in you.

Damian did make me laugh when he was talking to his wife on the phone - all very practical and to the point, typical English stiff upper lip - almost as if they were discussing a shopping list!

I must be the only one but Daisy's Dad is really peeing me off - talking about 'saving' her and how his hands hurt too. I feel so sorry for Daisy but think her dad is a knob
You're not the only one. It's a class thing. Cos he's a bit posh and was watching the rugby he's portrayed as a 'hero' for saving Daisy with his bare hands. If he had been working class and watching the football Daisy would be on the 'at risk' register by now and Dad would have been demonised.. Says a lot about the class loyalties of the producers.

Get that bloody chip off your shoulder. He was a brilliant dad - how he spoke to her and treated her and comforted her. Reverse snobbery is ****ing sickening.

Thought the "daddy" bit was a bit creepy myself.

Now his mother will find out that her little boy wasn't wearing clean underwear to hospital. In fact, no underwear at all!

Oh dear what?

Troubled watching the Baby trying to breath.
Pointless explaining to Mum what's going on with the tests and various theories as to what's wrong with the Baby, in one ear and out of the other, she looks spaced out and shocked.

Mood somewhat lightened earlier with talk of the other Baby's 'old chap' and its recent growth

That was all very good, as usual.
Nice to see Josiah is on the mend after all that, shame we don't get more about the Doctor's thought processes in a case like that, 'X + Y could be, this, that or the other'
A lot of confusing action and stuff going on, I noticed the other Nurses hovering outside the cubicle.
Props to the young girls who turned in for the young chap with the cut hand, especially considering his 'mates' couldn't be arsed.

I was wondering why Ronald's daughter was asking if she could bring her Dad home with her, explained later when she said she was talking to Her Mum/his ex-wife.
I was expecting her to 'go' in a big way, but she held it together.

Poor little baby.

I wonder if he has an insulin secreting tumour - otherwise I can't understand why his blood sugar would be so low. I'm probably just rambling....

How frightening for Tracey seeing her dad making no sense.

Baby Josiah was a fighter...pleased to see him well.

Very sad with Ron....
But light relief with the cheerleaders....And the concern from the Yawning Girls, waiting to see if that guy was all right, who they didn't know.

I like Jacqui, still.

His bllood sugar would be low because he was fighting so hard to breathe and most likely not able to feed for a while before admission .All small babies would struggle to maintain their sugars for long when they are using all their energy to breathe . Small babies need a very short time between feeds and if this is stretched out to much for any reason the sugars drop low .The dont have a mature enough systoms like we do to compensate at the same rate.
Plus he was using his auxillary muscles to breathe using up glucose too .
