Oh well enjoy your depression, I know you will.

Maybe I'll find out exactly what a Kings College special is next week sounded like 'Punch up, stitch up, crutches and out'

Don't you find it depressing that kids, with the world at their feet and everything to live for, seem to value life so little that they go around stabbing each other?

Granted its a minority of kids in particular urban areas, but its a terrible state of affairs, IMO.

I absolutely adore this brilliant programme, but it really opens your eyes to the rise in knife crime in this country. I didn't really realise how prevalent it is till watching this.

I really admire the job the A&E staff do and the danger they are sometimes put under with all the gangs and drunks. I really don't think I could do the job.

It was good to also see and hear from the porters; they seem like such good charachters.

that porter should be on X-Factor. Really nice voice.

Can't stand the attitudes of those gang members. Trouble is they'll probably watch this and think they were dead hard.
They should have been physically kicked out of the hospital and if they refused should have been arrested, can you imagine self-important arrogant tossers like that going into your workplace and causing trouble?A hospital is someones workplace, howmust the hospital staff feel?

Loved the black porter last night (sorry didn't catch his name) his outlook was great.

Loving the series, sad it must be over soon.

Got to say Channel 4 have hit the mark recenly with their fly on the wall docs, this and the hotel are great.

I watched it last night and thought Kevin and Brian the porters were the stars of the show! So often the unsung heroes of emergency wards are the porters.

tco200 I agree with you- Brian's outlook and that speech at the end was spot on. Maybe he should be asked to help youth groups in his local community as someone as articulate and engaging as he appears to be would be an asset.

I noticed this was the only episode that didn't have any follow up bits at the end. No cliffhangers I guess.

This is one series that i wish was on for 2 hours instead of 1 !!.

The staff have got brilliant senses of humour, and the porters, well, i wish the porters in my local hospital were as good

Bugger got in before me, was about to edit my post.
We started last week with a shot of a blokey hopping around, he made me giggle at least.

I suspect inhaler blokey isn't going to die before he's seen
If the idiot collected his prescrition on time and kept his appointments with the GP then he wouldn't be in A&E. It's totally out of order turning up there to demand inhalers when they are freely available on prescription if you get your arse in gear and order the prescriptions on time. Added to which, if his asthma was even moderately bad he wouldn't be able to speak in full sentences. Plonker.

I was in Kings A&E today after my Mother had an accident. (She's home and fine now)

Spotted Sister Jen on Triage duty, but as we went by Ambulance, we didn't get to speak to her. Also spotted Kevin who's much shorter than he looks on tv.

I can't remember the Emergency Nurse Praticioner's name, but I'm sure I've seen her in the show too?

Once again, nothing short of an excellent service from Kings and the staff were happy to discuss the tv show.

I'm watching and recording so I can watch it again.
She doesn't cycle anymore, 'lost too much to cycling'
I'll go back to the program before club negative turn up.

Oh Amanda, Claire or Amanda, can't make my mind up...

You'd think that elderly lady's GP would have made an appointment for her to see him in surgery, rather than make her go to A&E.

Did anyone else think the woman treating the 92 year old was really patronising?

I suspect that bloke who's gone out for a spliff will be too stoned to go back into A&E again

I thought it was 'covered' in what the Consultant said later, you're supposed to get old and die, it was a quality of life question.
We can't fix you, but what can we do to make life a bit more bearable.

The two black guys are making me giggle, I suppose some will be having problems with the accent when they go into a bit of patois.

Poor Eileen. I thought that might happen. My grandmother died last month a few days after breaking her hip,it's very common for elderly patients to die as a result of complications from a hip fracture.

As silly as it may sound I'm glad that Eileen died surrounded by people, and not alone in her home.

I thought she was great with her and had an excellent bedside manner.

That young couple are obnoxious, and between them they're still a braincell short of a pair.
They were very disrepectful. Sitting there slobbering all over each other, effing and blinding, talking about EXTRMELY inapporopriate things, all with a little old lady sitting next to them.
