Hi all,i have a samsung 40c7000 led 3d tv.Have had it from last september and have had blinking issues with it,i have had sky out five times thinking it was the 1tb box as no problem with blue ray.Sky have told me of no issues with samsung tv's but samsung sent a engineer out through a local company and informed me with issues with sky.Sky came back with a samsung sky hd box for a trial and the same happened again, another engineer came out today and quote 'samsung have got issues and are looking into resolving the problems, but no fix at the moment'.Now waiting for phone call from samsung. SORRY IF THIS IS ON ANOTHER THREAD,but has anyone else having this problem

is it the TV that is blinking ?

have you counted the blinks ? e.g. 3 in a row , pause for a while and 3 again ?

I wish it was me but the picture goes off for 2 seconds and comes back on,can happen once or more times a day.Even occurs when playing back a recording on sky hd box and 3d

I have qed 1.4ver hdmi leads and i have changed over the leads and have the same issue.I picked these leads due to high speed for the 3d both sky and 3d blue ray

ok if blu ray fine , then you would have to say its the HDMI handshake

I looked up the latest firmware , cant tell you what it is as the site wont let me go any further

http://www.samsung.com/uk/function/s...word=ue40c7000

so you could try it or try another sky box

Thanks again chris, been on phone today to samsung and they say they have no issues with this model, and they are going to talk to the engineer about this problem and if it cannot be fixed they're going to replace it.BUT according to the company which repair tv's for samsung in the coventry area have told me that is not the first time and in the past they have replaced the masterboards and the issue is still fixed.Samsung as can imagine got a flee in the ear today and told them what i thought, multiple visits by sky and two visits by engineers and still not fixed.I am now trying another hdmi port too see if theres any change
