For some reason, she reminded me when she was doing the pitch of that scene in the Witches with Anjelica Huston in the conference room, lol!
It was those darn gloves she was wearing! Her pitch was awful, she was really lucky to have won it. |

Yes indeed, making their own intolerance and attitude problems other people's fault by dismissing those others as 'fools'.
Edna could have simply asked Susan to get to the point and if she couldn't within a couple of minutes, say "I'm sorry I'm going to have to move on".

it's interesting that she comes across as such a bully and yet is supposed to be a 'human resources' person!

I'm pretty shocked the girls won, how did that happen, ha. The whole outcome of this episode has been surpising with the girls winning and then what happened in the boardroom with the boys. Just bafflement in all directions.
I am going to pat Edna on the back for not loosing the task rather than for winning it. The girls all knew they had performed badly and the win doesn't hide that fact. The contrast on the faces of the audience members to the boys pitch in comparison to that of Edna's explained it all really. I really hope this spat between Edna and Susan doesn't become a prolonged and tedious one. If people argue over details of a task then thats one thing but when personal issues pop up and get mistaken for such issues, thats another. I think with those two it seems a personal dislike for each other that they can't seperate from doing the job professionally. They both need to get over it. |

Perhaps she does Ann Summers evenings?

![]() Ha ha. Makes me wonder what she would have handed out instead of doughnuts. Maybe something to fit the hole in the dough?

I don't think she does either. But that doesn't stop people wishing this was the case.
People keep making nasty comments about her facial structure, um, I mean facial expressions and saying she has an attitude, even though that is just... how her face is. If you look at her profile picture, she has the same straight-face and lower cut eyes she has in the show. I guess she didn't like the look of the photographer and was giving them the "ghetto stare-down" too, huh? Sad in this day and age, people can have such a blind, ignorant hate for an individual just because they don't like the look of them. ![]() If it makes you feel any better, I have many more reasons for disliking her rather than simply her looks. She's arrogant, has a misplaced superiority complex, she's haughty, loud, over-bearing, over-confident, and then ............................................... Right at the bottom of the list - I can't stand her stupid white lipstick.

I wonder what the business proposition is that she wants to put to Lord Sugar if she wins.

I imagine it might be something to do with a training camp for whipping people into shape.

Edna could have simply asked Susan to get to the point and if she couldn't within a couple of minutes, say "I'm sorry I'm going to have to move on". The two things which stood out for me: When she announced who would be doing the big pitch in the style of an X-Factor compere: "and the person I've decided will do the pitch is ............. me". Her fixed grin when the team feedback about her pitch was *tumbleweed*. She has an extraordinary ego, even by Apprentice standards. |

Also, I believe that apart from Susan she also has a problem with Melody (remember her being told off by her in last night episode while selling the soup?), otherwise she would have let Melody do the pitch. Her defence in the final boardroom would probably have been that her staff was being sulky instead of helpful. |

What she should have done is ask Susan to take a couple of minutes out to think her idea through and in the meantime move on. Instead she just shut her down. Great business psychology for someone who supposedly is "passionate about HR".

She was a terrible PM. Isn't it telling that the only evidence of Edna's terrible Pming was a poor pitch and a slap down to an idea that had broke down? And strike me if I wrong, but didn't this terrible PM split the team into a focus group - as her first decision - (something the boys didn't do) and wasn't it the said focus group who came up with the idea for the app? She was lucky(ish) but nowhere near terrible IMHO. |

Perhaps a bit of racial stereotyping, but she reminded me a lot of Omarosa from the US Apprentice.

Agree entirely - and not just shut her down, but created enmity on Susan's part for the future. It could have been handled better.

i'm hoping she can now chill out and show her more human side! <fingers crossed>

Susan was talking rubbish and needed to be stopped. That's all Edna did. Did we see her get personal? No. Did we see her give a professional reason for shutting Susan up? Yes. I thought all of those crying foul over the Edna backlash were being too sensitive, but I'm beginning to see an agenda here.
Oh God, dare I ask what agenda you 'think' you're beginning to see? Quote:
