Alan Played Both Teams...
Alan played both teams (and me) like a finely tuned instrument tonight, before giving them the figures. He asked the mens team questions in such a way as to make them certain that they would be the victors, and he did the questions for the girls team as to convince everyone that they were about to be trounced. It had the desired effect too, as they were all starting to argue amongst themselves before the results had even been announced; as the boys sat there smugly awaiting what they were 100% sure would be a stunning victory.
Resulting in shock and horror.

Lord Sidney has got quite adept over the years in getting the winning team to turn on each other before letting them know they have won.
