I think he IS bluffing when he questions whoever wants to be PM and then he makes a half hearted attempt to be PM himself.

I think his thinking is, the PM is the most likely person to go if they lose but if he is called back, I think he is hoping he can survive by saying he wanted to be PM and he would have done things differently and he doesn't deserve to go for those reasons.

If that didn't work, would almost certainly use the last desperate straw clutcher of "let me be PM on the next task and I'l prove it to you". Thats what I think his game/tactics are and I don't like it and it gets on my nerves.

He comes across as too moody too for my liking.

I agree.

He strikes me as being rather whiny as well.

Looks like because he's a self made Managing Director, that he can't help himself like but at the same time, I think its tactics too.

Both Edward and Alex have now mentioned they had tactics, and this is his one I reckon.

He's a pain in the @rse and very disingenuous. Edward was right when he called him out for lying about 'volunteering to be PM'.

I am probably being unfair (too early to compare probs) but is he maybe, potentially starting to show early signs of being like Laura last year? Didn't she quite regularly seem to display a desire to be more involved and do bigger roles in tasks but got overlooked sometimes and ended up being abit huffy as result of not always getting her way. My friend calls him Mr Moody.

He's reminding me a little of Alex ("I'm only 24") from a couple of years ago who developed a reputation for backing out of responsibilities and being a bit sly.

Is there really a sense that he's a 'talk but no action' type of guy. Or, is it that he does genuinely want to do more (and be at the forefront) but is just not getting picked like he wants (eg when Leon choose Jim and Vincent for the App-pitch but didn't consider him). I'm not sure of which one yet.

Thanks that person who said Ed was right about the 'spineless' way he came forward to be PM -Spot on. Obviously the editing wanted to make Ed look stupid and probably didnt show the true amount of whining that Gavin did which was why Ed brought him into the boardroom.

So far I think Gavin wants to be seen to be putting himself forward without really making an all out effort.

That way he is trying to curry favour with LordSirAlan .... everyone knows he doesn't like people who hide in the bushes, without actually being in the front line.

My guess is that he will be pushed forward to PM if this tactic continues.

I find his tactics annoying also. The real test for all these candidates is when they become the PM .

To me it seems like he wants to question whether the other candidate should be PM, and doesn't feel he can do that unless he is prepared to be PM instead. Which is fair enough. He has raised his head above the parapet more than most others.

I agree with this. At least he has volunteered to be PM unlike some of the other guys who are just laid back, just letting anyone take the role. And I agree with him questioning Leon and anyone else who wants to be PM as it is pointless giving someone the PM role if they haven't got the skills right for it.

I see your point ... yes he has raised his head in a half hearted attempt, but very quickly ducked under the parapet again !

Personally I think it's been all show and a point to raise in his favour if it all goes tits up in the boardroom.

Its too easy for those that want to fly under the radar to make out they just want to question the credentials of who does nominate themselves, while they are really hoping they won't be picked/chosen and can last as long as possible that way.

Sugar should tell them that he expects them to discuss who is the best suited to be PM for the task and then go from there, rather than just focus on those who decide to go for it.

This way, Sugar can decide who is worthy much more of going and not and indicate so before they pick then final 3. I think they shouldn't cut it down to 3 either, all of the losing team should be eligible to get the chop. The only reason why they probably do the final 3 only thing is that so Sugar can do a summary on them and it would take to long doing it on all the team.

But they could still bring in the whole tema and Sugar focuses in on who he thinks should go based on what he's heard from Karen/Nick and the discusions in general.

Seems like i'm in the minority. I think he is one of the few speaking any sense at all! It's hardly that wrong of him to question some of the madness Edward created is it? I think he was entitled to ask a few questions and sure he would have led team if asked.
