Bees have been disappearing for a long while - I thought that was where RTD got the idea from.

Agreed the Bee problem has been an issue for years.

Disease, loss of habitat, pesticides and mild winters meaning they overwork themselves when they should be dormant have all lead to a decline in both the honey bee population and the many other solitary bee populations such as the bumble bee.

numbers seem to be on the increase a little this year, but the overall trend is in the wrong direction.
