Yeah, having put the case earlier that I thought a joint thread could continue to appreciate both with their new partners, I see a number of posters don't agree with that and in a way I do see their point.
But if you don't go that route, you just end up reminiscing about the good old days . . . like an aging Elvis fan convention!

Of course,very unfair on ppl who used to support both.

I agree with this. I am just glad that I havent been put in that position. Josie is of course making sure she has her super fans on side by keeping them in the know. I will never forget when she got a message from Josie the night she Josie must have found out about John being in the UK. Why would you tweet a fan about it though - words fail me.

Broadly, I can see 4 remaining strands of opinion there:

1. Those using it for social networking and to maintain bonds formed
2. Those who appreciated John and Josie over many months, and just want to keep an eye on what both are doing in their separate lives
3. Those holding out for reunification (who interpret everything in terms of Game 3: emotional hurt)
4. Those still battling for the soul of the fans (J v JJ).

Agree with you, I think it will be around for a fair while yet and good for them (and you!).

Most of the polemicists are now in the separate ATs, but I wouldn't say all . . . and they do pop back in to see whether they can tip a few more their way by point-scoring! One has you on block!
You also have the passive-polemicists to consider as well (eg, one who was tweeting earlier)!

I saw you trying to address her once and when she failed to reply, you gave it away!

After Monday, who knows! I'm still 50:50 on whether John plans to continue in the public eye, hopefully we might find that out soon. Don't really see any reason for Josie to change what she's doing, she'll keep attacking John and trying to divide the fans. Again, need to see whether John is going into KP territory with her. Those are the 2 burning Qs I'd like to see answered soonest.
