I mis-read it and thought it said 'Beyonce has named album 4'. I clicked wondering what it is and she has named it 4. as in the number 4.

Rubbish title.

I quite like it.

At the end of the day the title in no way reflects the content, and this is from the women who decided the call her 2nd album 'B'day'

It seems a bit of a safe choice. Not exactly inspiring or daring.

Wow, she's copied Adele then! Oh, wait. Adele's are named after the age she was when she wrote the songs, never mind. Actually, no, Girls (Run The World) sounds like it probably was written by a four year old! It makes sen——oh wait, beyonce doesn't actually write her music, she just pays people to pretend that she does. Hmm... maybe it's the number of songwriter's she has disenfranchised in order to look like she has some form of creative will of her own? Hmm. What will the re-release be called I wonder? "4audulent" has a nice ring to it.

I love how she's pointing to her right. It's a shame her Daddy can't financially blackmail someone to give her their sense of direction.

Révolution was whispered at first, and would have been a fitting title I think.

This is what media takeout said:

According to our snitch the meeting was called because of the very TEPID RESPONSE Beyonce's new album received during its PRIVATE SCREENING yesterday. The insider told *****************, "We had a screening of [Beyonce's new album, entitled] Four. A number of people told [Beyonce's label] privately that they were disappointed with the work."

Given Beyonce's near FLOP with her first single Girls (Run The Word), Beyonce's label team called what we're told was an "Emergency Meeting" with Beyonce.

Among the topics discussed were: re-recording her ENTIRE album (to include more R&B ballads) and DROPPING Jay Z and RocNation as her managers. The insider explained, "A lot of people blame this album on [Jay Z and RocNation]. They think it's time she went with one of the major [Management companies in Los Angeles], at least as far as her music career."

Its just sheer bloody laziness to name an album 4 cos its her fourth one! OK so her birthday and wedding anniversary are on the fourth but come on, its ridiculous! Where are all the good album titles gone?

Please don't tell me you take media take out seriously.

For one, Beyoncé isn't being managed by Jay-Z/Roc Nation. She's managing herself.
Yesterday she went to review some of the album songs with Concrete Loop and Just Jared. The reviews for the song and video were positive.
The album is finished, release date 4th of July.

Media Takeout = the Hip Hop version of The National Enquirer. Next you'll be quoting from The Onion

I thought it was "iv" rather than the number 4? I think that would give it more edge and sophistication.

I'm looking forward to more songs like "Run The World". Agressive, in your face songs, where she's taking no prisoners. . I know she's divided opinions on it, and I don't know many people who like it, but by B's attitude, I don't think she'd really care

Quite a shit title. Quite a shit lead single. Looks like this will be one of "those" eras where the singles and album underperform, quality of work is poor and the era is quickly brushed under the carpet and then the next era begins far quicker (with more success).

One of my best friends (years ago, sadly we don't speak anymore) told me Beyonce claims to write her songs, but she doesn't, and pays to have people's names taken off some songs, and pays to just have her name included as well... Is this really true, or are you just having a dig? Not that I'm critisising, just curious if she really does? If that's the case I might not like her that much as a person anymore...

That's what her haters say + rumours
If you want to believe them then do so, otherwise you can look to the facts yourself

Until writers come out themselves, then these haters might have a case

The same claims are being said about Gaga now

Success brings rumours with it
