I make my own soup. No need for nasty MSG in your life.

Not all of us have time to make home made soup though

MSG doesn't have to be nasty. I expect the big brands now cut down on salt, sugar etc. because of trends and outrage.

Yes, I do drink cup-a-soups from time to time and I thoroughly enjoy them.

My favourite is chicken, but I also like vegetable. I'm not fussed on the tomato.

I agree with this poster. Much as I prefer home made soup getting the time to make it isn't always possible and even if it is its not always practical.

In my old office you daren't take in anything home made to leave in the fridge for lunch as it would disappear long before lunchtime as I learned very quickly in my early days there at the cost of several home made meals and the office was too warm to leave stuff at your desk to have later. Also given I had to take 3 buses to work at that time it also wasn't practical as it had a tendancy to spill and I didn't have a thermos at the time.

Cup a soups at least can be easily flung into a drawer and you don't have to worry about it. If you want soup its quick and easy.

Don't have a favourite brand as such although tend to go for Batchelors especially chicken noodle, although Sainsbury Chicken Noodle Cup a Soup is also very good.

I despise the Ainsley Harriot range of Cup a Soups that are currently available I have had cheaper cup a soups before and this was worse than any of them.

If I'm going to eat ready made soup, then the new Covent garden range or m&s's fresh soups are nice....even tinned soups are preferable than the powdered crap.

I don't drink tea or coffee, and sometimes I get fed up how many breaks these other people who do have tea or coffee have - it is like 10 minutes out of every hour

So sometimes when I get really fed up of this, I make myself a cup a soup as an alternative and get a break all these others are having I only drink them now and then though.
