I had one of these as a kid and always would ask myself why they couldn't make these much bigger so the telly would be thinner.... I was ahead of my time....

I had a 3.3 inch telly which took 8 AA batteries which lasted about an hour on average.
It also had a stuck pixel which was rather annoying.
£180 wasted.(and £99 for a 5 year warranty....yes I am a mug).Could have got a 21 inch for that price.Although it wouldn`t have been very portable would it ?

I had a little SInclair with CRT, and Casio with LCD.

I had one in the early 90's. I think it may have been a Casio and I remember watching the Rugby World Cup on it in the office one day at work with about 10 colleagues huddled around its little 2 inch screen.

Sadly, it was stolen in 1994 when my car was broken in to.

Used to have the second one linked to here. Bought it in Boots Southampton all those years ago. Then some tea leaf from the wife's family nicked it.

Have just ordered one of these

Its not quite pocket TV but still looks good for the price.
It also has an aerial in put so if the signal is not great I can plug the TV aerial into this.

I was given one once, late 80's. My mate had bought it but the tuner broke. I gave it to my dad to use as a colour monitor on his camcorder (most were B&W back then).

Just got the TV today.
On the DVB Antenna it is able to receive BBC channels.
But plugged into out door aerial all channels work like ITV.
When signal gets stronger it should be better.
The DVB Antenna is just a stick aerial thing but the TV can run a 5V aerial.

Can also plug in a sky box or games console to.

I remember seeing these in catalogues and stuff but I never had one or knew anybody that had one. However a few years ago my uncle came around to our house once (I was in the door from school and he was there) and he showed us a portable black and white TV he bought for a friend. I think it needed a few C batteries and the picture was terrible. It was a tiny screen, probably a couple of inches bigger than an Iphone screen and AFAIK he bought it in a discount shop. It had a round aerial on the top.
