Whats a good £s per GB ratio for a Flash Drive

I am looking to replace my years old Flash Drive with a mroe up to date model, but I am unsure what a good ratio is.

How much should I spending for say 10GB?

Would something like this be a good option?

The Bytestor drive you've linked to is about right. £12 - £15 is around the normal price for 16GB. 8GB drives can be had for around £7 - £8.

You should not be paying more than £1 per gb
The bigger the drive the lower the price per gb

Have a look at the link below

I would check benchmarks, some flash drives are painfully slow with a 3MB/s write speed.

Better drives such as those by OCZ have about a 15MB/s write speed.

I also wouldn't go by what the manufacture says as they tend to quote theoretical maximum speed which is useless.

ok so over all opinon on the "ByteStor 16GB USB High Speed "Dataferry" Flash Drive" it seems like a good choice, if more GB than I need at the moment.

Ill order this evening.

As long as your not expecting much on speed it will be fine.

I usually find that 7dayshop have very good prices for memory sticks etc. Not paying 20% VAT as they are outside the UK tax regime helps of course.
