Food you love but haven't had for ages?
I'm having my first proper steak of the year tonight
I love steak so not quite sure how I have managed almost 5 months without one... It has also occured to me that this year I have not had pizza, garlic bread or a Chinese take away... Granted I have been trying to eat healthy but those of you that "know" me on here will remember how much I love my garlic bread ![]() Anyone else unintentionally (or intentionally) given up something they love? |

I used to love fried egg on fried bread with brown sauce. Daren't have it again though, I think my heart would stop!
If I ever make garlic bread now I use olive oil which I have warmed up with garlic & herbs. Despite being marginally better for you than butter I think it tastes nicer. |

I've not bought a pizza from a chain or takeaway for a couple of years. I do make my own though.
Similarly, i've not bought a Chinese or Indian takeaway for probably the same amount of time although I have been to a couple of buffet restaurant and make my own. I made garlic (flat)bread last night. It was yummy

I don't think I've had a kebab yet this year.
Also Risotto Milanese. There's a restaurant in Glasgow (on the south side of the pederstrianised bit of Sauchiehall Street) which does Risotto Milanese takeaways. As I'm planning to go to Glasgow in the next few months, I am looking forward to having one again! |

Farley's Rusks - I used to eat them a lot, I love the taste of them with or without milk - I may just have to go and buy some now.

No, I try to avoid diets and I can't think of anything I haven't had for ages. Oh, probably home made pasties, actually. I haven't had one for ages.
