Yes, there's a 'Personal Hotspot' option, that turns the iPhone into a wireless router, so you can use its 3G, E or GPRS data connection on your PC via WiFi.

Go to Settings, then General, then Network. You should see either 'Personal Hotspot' or 'Set up Personal Hotspot'.

However, you may need to pay your network operator more to use it.

Call your network to check. Make sure you ask about costs!

The iPhone can relay a mobile network data connection via WiFi. Click here to learn more: http://www.apple.com/uk/ios/#hotspot...-g-ipn-hotspot

It can't relay a WiFi connection via WiFi. - so you can't boost your home WiFi signal, for example.

Also, it's not an ADSL or cable modem. - so you can't use it with your home broadband connection that comes over the normal phone line, for example.

Any of the above relate to what you mean?
