The actors inside those cossies couldn't see a think. Unless they re-jigged them, it must have been as scary for those por chaps as it was for any kids seeing them.
Apart from that - I'd have been over the moon to see them wandering around the street - they are wonderful.
As a kid, I was walking home from the shops and the Batmobile drove past - it was the 60's when the TV show was still "new". I was completely blown-away - I can still picture it clearly over 40 years later. I'll bet there were kids who saw that Silence in the street who'll be talking about it 40 years from now.

a) it's not really a "show" - it's an exhibition which has an interactive element to it.
b) it's not a 10-30 minute thing - people are advised to allow up to an hour an a half for the whole thing.
