I did the Higher too Didn't find it that bad, but everybody was saying it was so difficult, and now I'm scared I've done all of it wrong or something.

Its multiple choice for the first half of paper 1 is it not? The calculator paper is always harder!

If I remember right, you want to do psychology don't you?

Nah, your probably just really good at it. I don't think I found it hard because it was hard, I'm just terrible at maths I did the most terrible thing ever - I differentiated a integration question like an idiot What other subjects are you doing?

Yeah, I'll have got most of my marks from the multiple choice since they're just basic questions but I'd be lucky to get like 20 marks in paper 2. I did want to do psychology but now I'm kinda stuck between that and History

Well, I've had a look at the answers for it, pretty confident of an A unless I've completely messed it up. That integration was a 10-marker as well, wasn't it? You'll probably have still passed it though.

This year I did Maths, English, French, Physics and Geography all at Higher. It's been absolute hell, I'm just glad it's all over. What ones are you doing?

I did Maths, History, Drama and Computing at Higher with English at Int2 so I just hope I can get 3A's in Drama, History and Computing and then do Advanced History and Dram to get into Edinburgh. How did the rest of your exams go ?

I'm hoping I got A's in Maths, French and Geography, and a B in Physics. English, I think I've failed it completely, it didn't go well. I'll probably need to resit English next year to get to Uni, and I'm wanting to do Advanced Maths and Higher Chemistry, so I can get into one of the Uni's. I've not enough thought about what Uni to go to, there's so many to choose from. How did yours go?

I *think* I did enough in History and Drama to get my A's and the Int2 English was a breeze but as I say Maths was just dire. I heard that the Physics exam was a beast though I don't know if that's true and I bet you did well in your English exam.

In English, I just blanked on all the notes I made and everything. It was awful. English isn't my strong point. I can speak it, I don't see where analysing books I'm never going to look at again is going to help ever. What is it you're planning to do at Edinburgh?

I think I got 18/20 when I sat it xD 2marks away from an A

Interesting choices, none that I would've chosen I have to say I hope the results are good though

History or Psychology, not entirely sure. Do you know what subject you want to go into yet ?

Lol, English just sucks. The critical essays were so pointless with so many quotes and techniques to learn. It would've been better if it was a open book.

Thank you. Bummer on missing the A by such a small line. What subject did you pick to do at Uni ?

Hiya, I'm probably going to need a lot of luck for the results.

Wow, that sounds fun. I was kinda turned away from History this year from everybody saying how much of a killer the exam is, with a lot of writing or something, hope it works out for you.

I've been looking at those joint degree thingys with Maths and French because that's the stuff I can do alright. It would mean I would have to move to either Aberdeen or Heriot-Watt, not sure what to do about that.

I know, it doesn't really make sense. It's not really judging us on how well we can analyse these books, it's just all about memory. Complete and utter waste of time.

Ironically... a maths based course

I'm looking forward to moving away from home as I think it'll be fun but I don't think it's for everyone to be honest. I'm sure you'd enjoy it if you moved though.

True.”

My brother does maths at Uni as well but I must admit that would be hell to me, all those equations and numbers :/

Oh, I can't wait to move out, and get away from my parents. It does sound like it'll be fun, it's just choosing where to go.

Moving away from home is so much fun!

I don't mind it. Way better than my original course last year (computer science) Loving it!

Oh I see, I really love Edinburgh as it just looks so nice. It seems like a really inviting place. It's also meant to have a great theater and gay scene so I'll be very much at home.

Seems like you've got it all worked out, have you been to any of the open days for the unis? How long have you known you wanted to go to Edinburgh?

I've got it narrowed down to Strathclyde, Stirling, Heriot Watt and Aberdeen, but Heriot Watt is just inching it for me at the moment, only because I saw a hot guy in the middle of Edinburgh once. Probably not the best way to decide on stuff.

Since 4th year really, I mean I was swayed between Aberdeen, St. Andrews and Edinburgh but I've done tons of research and supposedly at St. Andrews you have to be quite sporty to get liked and I hate sport. So it came down to Edinburgh and Aberdeen with Edinburgh inching it just a little for really small reasons like accommodation. Having said that the Aberdeen guy was like so hot, I kept asking him questions just so I could keep looking at him. Then I asked him for one of those free ruler things just so I could see his bum

Ooooh, sly. I'll need to keep that one in mind when I go up to Aberdeen. The hot guys are one of the only reasons I can't wait to get to uni. My area isn't exactly known for its lookers.

I felt like really bad, honest ! I hate my reactions to people I find hot, I get all red faced and embarrassed and all my words come out wrong. Like we have this really hot office guy and I can never ask him for anything because he actually makes me lose my train of thought. Oh it's terrible, I can't wait to go to Uni and actually be able to tell people yeah I'm gay without worrying about the reaction.
