Thanks for the support guys. But it was kind of expected for a 28 year old he has no responsibility what so ever so lately we were having arguments about him not pulling his weight around the house. Now I totally understand that he works a full time job (as do I might add) but it takes like half hour to clean the house on a weekday and an hour on a weekend and I don’t see why it is unreasonable for me to ask for help and why should I do the ironing ever week, that’s not fair. But all he was interested in was going out shopping at the weekends or playing his computer which is fine but if he helped out maybe I could chill out and do some fun stuff as well. But you know maybe I am being unreasonable.

If that boy wants a second chance thought he has got some growing up to do.

that sounds sadly like me, i admit im like your lad, i get home from work and cook then put on the pc/xbox/ps3 and dont really do housework, im not a house proud bloke but we came to the arrangement i would do 90% of the cooking and clean our on suite and he would tidy the bedroom and be part of the main house rota for the living area and kitchen (something my housemates were more than happy about after a long time of trying to get me to participate).
as much as im a lazy ****er even i know i have to grow up and pull my own weight, or at least some of it.

i hope that if you do get back together that he doesnt just give you empty words that run out after a few weeks of complacency.
