Then go to their tour, they're already an established act.

“It's a staggering 15 years since The Circus of Horrors first trampled the bloody boards and has since toured the World achieving cult status whilst dragging Circus screaming into the 21st century. The Circus of Horrors is rockin' & shockin' with a fangtastic new show that is without a doubt a musical masterpiece with the pulsating devil driven Rock n Roll of Dr Haze & the Interceptors From Hell. Imagine if Quentin Tarantino had directed Cirque Du Soleil then you would be only half way there.”

Many of these acts are invited to audition, with guaranteed places in semi-finals

I can't believe how negative the posters are on Digital Spy. They're already an established act, they've been assured semi-finals, etc etc.

So miserable.

They were fantastic, the best we've seen.

I haven't seen anyone said they are not fantastic!

They were brilliant, but it does make the whole thing unfair.

I never even heard of them before, but they are established and have been going for 15 years! Surely, that's against T&Cs - it's not what BGT is about.

No it doesn't make it unfair as established acts are allowed to apply. Who cares if they're established or not - they were great.

sunill - I didn't say that anyone had not. If these sort of shows are to continue, they need to source acts.

All television shows need to scout, they've had staff in these roles since Season 1.

the competition is to win so you can perform infront of the queen not to become an established act ie whether your the best selling dance act or whatever in the uk it doesnt make much difference

Ive been to their shows a few times now and they are great! They should perform for the Queen. The last time I went, there were lots of empty seats in the audience, so hopefully this well get them some more recognition! I love them to bits!

There's no limit on experience on this show, so there's not much to complain about on that score

I mean if they were to stop already established acts, would we have seen the likes of Shaheen or Spelbound in previous years

Whenever I've seen the posters in my town for this act they always have blood and gore splashed all over, are their tour shows more about decapitations etc as the BGT performance was incredibly tame?

I think it is unfair though. It'd be like a singer/group like Blue auditioning for X Factor after their breakup! Yes, past experience is ok but to have already found fame, have your own show and tour the UK is abit much. They don't need some apparent talent show to launch themselves, they've already done it off they're own back.

Maybe this just wasn't my type of act! They did nothing for me! I couldn't see any excitement in it at all! It actually bored me!

I think it is totally out of order thst Circus of Horrors has been going 15 years, they should have been thrown out of BGT this show should be for new acts.

I would imagine they may well have been invited on, so they can face off against the similar act (the dressed up people, guy singing with the big hat and twirly curtain ladies) in the final. They are blatantly going to try and set it up like diversity and flawless.

Freakyness is the new body-popping.

Surely BGT should be for new talent?! Even I've heard of Circus of Horrors - they sometimes play in my town on tour.

Interesting, seems they have bumped into Ant and Dec before and been on several TV shows

Smelling another set-up here much like the marching band at the end of the show

Thing is, where does it end?

If acts that have been going for fifteen years are fair game, why don't they go the whole hog and let bands like Status Quo audition?

I'm sure Status Quo will enter one year and fail to make it through the first audition because they still haven't mastered playing that tricky fourth cord that's aluded them for the last 49 years..

I think the Cheeky Girls auditioned last year or the year before doing some form of dancing (but didn't get through!)

I saw them at my local Pavillion, they were very good.

I don't have a problem with them being professionals as they are so much better than most of the acts put through this year.
