Terrible decision for West Ham

...and with a half full stadium. Average attendances in the championship around 30k. The Olympic stadium holds 60K.

Its going to be a very soulless ground.

However they dont take possession for another couple of years, so have time to get back into the premiership. Which isnt going to be easy, as their best players will leave.

Shame it was so difficult for her parents to get it right and spell it properly in the first place really

I would imagine so but there is a difference between football and greyhound racing - that gap may be more acceptable to greyhound racing fans

One thing for sure, when a club is doing well they will all claim credit.

To be fair to Karren, West Ham being relegated is little of her doing.

Many faults lie within West Ham way before you get to Karren.

You have International players (with the exception of Parker) who didn't give it everything

You had a manager who doesn't look like the type of man who would kick their asses back into line.

You have Gold and Sullivan talking rubbish about them all to the press, like that will help confidence levels.

Fact is West Ham could have saved them saves in the last two games but the players gave up and were beaten by the better Wigan time (not surprising when the manager leaves the better players on the bench for some odd reason)

The old Wembley Stadium originally had a running track, no one moaned about that then.

Anyhow, they are looking into a moveable seating area that can be wheeled out to where the track is..

To be fair to Karren, both she and David Gold wanted Grant gone in January, it was David Sullivan who apparently insisted he stayed - possibly due to the huge payout Grant would have received thanks to the FOUR year contract G + S gave him. The attempt to bring in Martin O'Neill was badly handled due to a certain loan player leaking the news to the press before it was all sorted out. I wish Ms Brady would cancel her Sun column forthwith if I am honest, but our problems this season have had little to do with her...

Yep, your right. I was thinking of WHs attendance...thats around the 30K mark. Of course this may well go down next year...but not by much.

I have also heard/read somewhere, that the olympic stadium will be reduced in capacity when WH take it over. Not sure if this is true or not.
