It's definitely airing on just Sundays, as stated on SRO Audiences. I think it'll probably run as one combined show, between 7-9pm/7.30-9pm/8-9pm, depending on the no. of acts in it. 7-The Royal 8-Popstar 9- Scott & Bailey Then I realised PSTO needs a results part too and 6.30pm is too early for The Royal surely? Nice to see ITV making use of the BGT lead in to prop up S&B's first week though. |

The FOX schedule will be interesting tomorrow just to see where The X Factor is scheduled, I'm thinking Wednesday and Thursday like Idol was. Terra Nova will definetly get an X Factor but I think it'll just get 13 episodes due to filming and post production schedule, it starts filming regular episodes in June.
Quite how they format X Factor, I'm not sure. If they launch a week early, they'll go head-to-head with the final of America's Got Talent (and most likely the premiere of Survivor and the finale of Big Brother). They could just do one episode in its first week and launch on the Thursday. If they launch in premiere week (which I think is w/c 19th Sept) then they'll need to trim 2 weeks from the existing format. They've also got to schedule 3 comedies. Presumably Raising Hope gets bumped to 9.30pm on Tuesday. So I Hate My Teenage Daughter and The New Girl (starring Zooey Deschanel) will take the post Glee and post X Factor slots. http://www.deadline.com/2011/05/fox-...ova-on-monday/ |

Deadline saying Terra Nova might go on Mondays at 8pm with House moving to 9pm. Glee on Tuesdays followed by a comedy hour. X Factor on Wednesdays followed by a sitcom at 9.30pm. X Factor & Bones on Thursdays.

They're going to have live shows by October if they want to get over by December. IMO August would have been better time and many FOX shows have launched in August, Wonder if Alcatraz is for midseason which would be odd considering that they have Touch although I think Touch will most likely get delayed because they haven't even shot a pilot yet. |

Interesting interview with Elaine Bedell. Leaving aside the usual fluff, its interesting that she thinks the next big thing after BGT/TXF [which seems to preoccupy some posters here] is not likely to be a talent show, but there will be a strong element of audience interactivity in it.

"She tips Bo Selecta creator and Celebrity Juice host Leigh Francis as an ITV1 "comedy star of the future", but will wait until the end of the series to confirm if Sing If You Can, his Saturday night show for the network, will return."

So ITV1 is to become ITV2? And ITV2 is to feature public hangings I imagine.
Meanwhile at Channel 4 they are fuming that their public hangings idea has been nicked by ITV, only thing to do... "The Million Pound Drop Extreme" Contestants risk their heads for a chance to win a million pounds (sponsored by Gillette) |

![]() ![]() ![]() Fantastic rating! I was expecting 4.5m tops! Really well timed though, what with the release of the new film next week. Vera held up very well against it with 5.5m (5.6m inc +1) and looks like a keeper. Countryfile rated as well as ever but 4.3m for The Cube is OK. Stonking rating for MOTD2. |

Huge rating for Pirates! Tops off a fantastic weekend for BBC1 with Norton, Eurovision & now Pirates. When I saw how high it rated, I was shocked to see Vera increased on its main showing! The fact its managed to slightly increase every week should mean its a dead cert for a recomission.
Ch5 seemed to suffer where ITV1 and BBC1 benefited with the 8pm movie performing poorly. I also expected slightly more for the WTD finale. I found the first two episodes enjoyable, but it seemed to tail off after that and became a bit dull. I only kept watching, because it was a 6 part series opposed to the normal 22/24 part series. I suspect many other viewers could be the same and if the second series airs on Ch5 it could be below 1m. |

When it was on FX the audience stayed pretty steady throughout it run (after the usual first episode drop). The second season is 13 episodes. |

Gosh, nearly double what I expected for Pirates (no, really - I did). After 10m watched the premiere, it got well over 6m for its repeat the following Christmas, and I think has been shown once more before last night on BBC1 - and presumably on BBC3 several times too. So to get 7m last night for its 4th or 5th BBC1 airing is, well, gobsmacking!
![]() I imagine the other 2 will be swiftly repeated on that showing... |

![]() I imagine the other 2 will be swiftly repeated on that showing... They probably will repeat the other two but I doubt they'll do anywhere near as well because they aren't anywhere near as good. The second has been shown 3 times on BBC1 now to much lower ratings than the first, with 6.8m for the premiere (Boxing Day 2008), 3.7m (New Year's Eve 2009) and 3.2m (18th July 2010) whilst the third has only been shown once and got 6.1m on Boxing Day 2009. So they wouldn't come close to 7m (more 3-4m) so are probably best being saved for Christmas slots (not plum slots though) where films get better ratings. |

Not sure about those BBC3 figures because of course Lady Gaga overran massively and Family Guy began at 10.40.
