You can't beat how at the end of a pre-recorded video tape, the screen goes blank and it sometimes shows copyright messages and other things (with no sound).
Also on a video tape i've heard beeps and other odd sounds at the blank part of the beginning of a pre-rec'd tape.
Then there's records with their popping and crackling, real authentic sounds
I like at the end of one when the turntable automatically lifts the arm off the record and on some turntables it generates a loud pop through the speakers.
And the silent bits at the start and end of an audio tape
You don't get this with MP3's CD's DVD's and Blu-Ray's
They just don't make em' like that anymore!
