I'm getting really fed up with BT and have complained to them at least 4 times now about the same matter.

I have repeatedly asked them to remove me from all marketing contact yet nothing has changed. I used to get harassed by people calling "on behalf of BT" but now they have stopped and been replaced by letters telling me about their latest over priced products and services.

I have called them on numerous occasions asking to make a complaint or be transferred to the complaints department to escalate a complaint about this. Every time I do I am told there is no complaints team and the advisor on the phone will sort it out for me.

Surprise surprise they never do. Marketing mails keep coming through. I have reminded them of their legal obligation to stop sending me marketing info if I request that but still they keep coming through.

The last advisor I spoke to (about 30 mins ago) again promised me he had stopped the letters but given the past performance I really don't believe him

Where can I take it from here within BT to actually get this resolved or is this something Ofcom can handle?

Thanks

Write a letter of complaint to: Sir Michael Rake, Chairman, British Telecommunications plc, 81 Newgate Street, London EC1A 7AJ.

Works every time.

Hi kingdave

I have just seen you post in relation to receiving marketing content from us after you have advised you wanted to be removed from our lists. This is something I can gladly help with and get sorted out for you, if you send me your details via http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4950 I will arrange to get this done for you.

Regards David
