Any Linkin Park fans here?
As you can tell by my name, i am a fan. They are a great band, if you don't like any kind of rock and metal groups then they are out of the equation, but their Hybrid Theory album is a classic, a must have for me.

Although many of my friends dont seem to like them, i quite like them. Some of the songs are well made for their emotion, e.g. songs like My December, In The End, Numb. I also quite like the Reanimation album - im not usually a fan of people getting their mits on other peoples music to remix it.
As i said before, many of my mates dont like them, so unfortunatly it isnt a 'cool' thing to talk about them, but i will still listen to them anyway. They always say "nu-metal is dead". Im not bothered, if i like a genre i will listen to it. |

Is it ok to be 45 and say yes, I like them??
I've got a 12 year old daughter who's grown up to be a rocker to the core just like her dad, but it was she who got me listening to Linkin Park...Excellent stuff generally...the last album especially |

Think they're one of the most amazing bands. Normally when bands get big they start to suck (the Manics being the best example), but LP have just got better and better. 'Faint' is one of the few songs I just can't stand still to, and some stuff on the new album is amzingly intelligent and innovative, like 'Nobody's Listening'. They're amazing live and I'm going to shut up right now or I'll never stop.

I love Linkin Park.. I like how they blend Chester's screams with Mike's calm tones.. Hybrid Theory is probably the best album, but Meteora is generally more catchy. I don't like Reanimation much, it's not my type of music really. Anyway, I like pretty much like all their songs except "High Voltage" and "Hit The Floor."

Im a big fan as well. Some people slate them as they never swear in their songs - and yet they are supposed to be a rock / pop group ... so what, why do i want to listen to bad language all the time, it makes a pleasant change.

my god, I didn't even notice that they didn't swear.
So it obviously doesn't make that much of a difference... |

I don't think it's important either.. Their lyrics work well as they are.
