Round 2 is Up - Get voting

The Game -

What im going to do is have a bit of fun with it all, im going to be doing several rounds

Vote for your favourite out of the following male or female's on the poll above, now this is how the rounds will work

in Round 1 the top 5 of each category (male and female) with the most votes will go through to round 2
in Round 2 the top 3 of each category (male and female) with the most votes will go through to round 3
in Round 3 the top 2 of each category (male and female) with the most votes will go through to the final
in the Final the two top people (2 males and 2 females) will fight it out in a final poll, there will be 2 winners the hottest male and the hottest female.

The final 2 winners will then go into the Battle of the Sex's Final and will battle it out Male v Female to find out who is the hottest of the sex's.


Just a bit of fun i thought i would do.

Results -

Results will be announced every Sunday at 00:00 and a new thread along with a new poll will be created. This Sunday the 22nd of May being the second round draw. ie the result of the top 3 who will go through.

I voted for Jim's body.

Alex and Edward were the two best-looking males. (Strangely they got no votes on the last poll...)

Gavin is cute in a very plain sort of way. Jim's attractiveness is more about his accent / demeanour (and hot body) than it is what he looks like. Leon has a fugly cabbage patch kid face. Vincent is fug. I can't even remember who "Tom" is...

Melody and Felicity are pretty.

Not really. Most people (on DigitalSpy especially) confuse attraction to a person's manner and accent with attraction to what they look like. If Edward or Alex did a personality swap with Jim and Leon the results would be very different.

Felicity is pretty to look at but the way she carries herself is not so appealing. That clip of her sat in the car talking about taking off a penny or something, it's very Vicky Pollard.

How can you presume to know what people are thinking or are getting confused about? You can't extrapolate all that from the result of a poll unless you have specific comments from others to quote in support of your assertion. Incidentally I completely disagree that Alex and Edward were the two best looking candidates; infact I didn't find either remotely attractive. If you think differently then fine but it's ridiculous and somewhat arrogant to suggest they were as if it's a fact.

By spending too much time on DS; enough to know what sorts of wrongheaded thinking users here are prone to.


Attractiveness and good looks are not the same thing. I didn't find Alex attractive either. But he was good-looking nevertheless.

To be clear, I never thought good looks particularly important to this poll, since it's about who is the "hottest". I simply thought it was strange that the two most good-looking got zero votes, and someone replied that people didn't agree that they were the most good-looking, which is incorrect because good looks are not a matter of opinion.

They are a matter of opinion. If they weren't people wouldn't differ on them.

I'm exorbitantly pleased to see that glasses geek Tom has at least some share of the vote, whereas Vincent 'I'm a fanny magnet, me' ski-slope nose has yet to garner any shagability whatsoever.

Leon definitely has something about him, don't know what it is. My flatmate has a major crush on Felicity, as well.
