Following their successful Eurovision week, Jedward have hit the number one spot on iTunes in Germany, Austria & Sweden (so far).

They are charting higher than these countries own Eurovision entries, and indeed the winning song.

Apparently they went down a storm during Eurovision week, spending hours chatting to fans & signing autographs. They seem to be having a blast - they have a genuine love for what they do & especially for the fans, they have already made €2million since first appearing on The X Factor & Louis Walsh reckons they will make their third million this year, yet they still appear to be down-to-earth guys who are not motivated by money, they are just having lots of fun.

Is this the start of Jedwardmania across Europe & beyond?

Pretty sure Sweden gave them the maximum, 12.

It's a good pop song and they were in the top 5 performance-wise, IMO.

i never saw the point of them before but they were in their element at eurovision and did one of the best performances on the night imo.

good luck to them, they've found their niche!

Good for them! Love the song - it's really well written and catchy. Louis Walsh is a shrewd operator and the boys are naturals.

Love 'em!

Congrats to them. Although I find it slightly strange that they might miss the top 40 in the charts of the country that made them famous in the first place!!

They're very camp, very novelty - very Eurovision. I'm not surprised they went down a storm in Europe.

I don't - they were edited as 'talentless brats' in the early stages of the X Factor; a label that they're still stuck with in the UK for a lot of people. If they were portrayed as what they really are from the start - nice, hard-working boys who are really good at entertaining, despite not being the best singers, I think things would've worked out differently for them here. They're accepted as TV personalities, but not popstars.
That and I don't think the song is the kind of thing that does well in Britain, though I don't see how it's any worse than that LMFAO song that was number 1 for ages.
