I'm having repetitive problems getting my Samsung DVD Recorder to intialise DVD-RW discs.

Is there a program that I can download on the PC that will intialise discs on the PC in the correct format for the Samsung DVD Recorder to then record on?

If you're having problems, then it's most likely that the recorder is failing - probably the laser assembly getting weak, or the optics dirty.

Have you recently changed the brand of media you buy? It might be worth checking with Samsung for recommended media.
