Yup I had the dough ones in America, couldn't believe how lovely they were compared to the snack things we get.

The sugar & cinnamon ones i had in Vegas and Florida were amazing. There is a kiosk/stall in Westfield shopping centre selling them, which are the best i've tasted in the UK.

You're not pulling my leg ?

I went into M&S this afternoon.
THEY DO NOT SELL THEM
They sell the ordinary pretzels, and "Giant" pretzels, but NO CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZELS
I'm in Birkenhead, by the way.
Where are you ? Where is Normanby ??
Maybe they have missed Birkenhead, in that case why aren't they on the M&S website ??

The Big Yum do chocolate pretzels called chocolate swerves. I bought some when they were at a local food and drink festival

They really are back now, Cadburys are selling them, £1.88 a pack though, somewhat more expensive than those Flipz you used to be able to buy.

I remember getting Nestlé Flipz in the late 90s from my local corner shop. I used to love them. I think they've discontinued them in the UK now but you can still get them from US import stores.

I don't think the Cadburys ones are salted though like the Flipz, people in this country had a real problem with that with the sweet and salt together but these days with all the salted caramel products and Lindt Sea Salt chocolate people would be more receptive.

I remember Flipz but didnt really like the salt and sweet taste together back then, it was just weird
Don't know if I'll like salted caramel but on the other hand, the popcorn in the Cadburys Toffee Popcorn bar (and Choc Full of Popcorn) is "lightly salted" but I can hardly taste the salt TBH

Been buying them for a while now and I'd say there's definitely a bit of saltiness in there.

Bought some and sucked the chocolate off one and you're right they are salted.

Pound a pack at Tesco at the moment.

I make these all the time at home - buy a bag of salted pretzels from your local supermarket and melt a bar of Dairy Milk. Dunk the pretzels in and put them on a piece of greaseproof to dry. Easy as! Then you can do all sorts of things like drizzle them with white chocolate, sprinkled butterscotch pieces on them. My favourite is to take two, sandwich them with a peanut butter cream mixture and dunk the whole lot in more chocolate. A jar of those make a fantastic gift...
