I've been wondering this too. What does one have to do to receive a perma-ban?

She basically just confirmed the next single is Bloody Mary after that video.

As much as I love the song and can't wait for the video...I feel it's pretty much a wasted single opportunity because I severely doubt it will change anything and the more singles she goes through, the less impact they'll have. By the time we get to Scheisse and Marry The Night, they'll be blips rather than deserved smashes.

In what way was that a confirmation that it's Bloody Mary? Which part? I hope not. Has she learnt nothing.

I think what made me think that was her talking about Bloody Mary as an example of her schizophrenic personality - referencing how the single will apparently reference her 'real life' and also her 'dream of the future'. How she's halfway between this and that, reality and fantasy, dark and sweet/whimsical, also black and white. The last bit especially seems relevant because she's been constantly wearing black and white, with black and blonde wigs recently...and things like that are rarely coincidental with her. She tends to be one mini-era behind in terms of style. I.e. she dressed like Judas Gaga whilst promoting BTW, then dressed like TEOG Gaga during Judas. The teal has been a spanner in the theory, but she's now wearing the black and white stuff a lot.

The talk of Yuyi/mermaids throws that off a bit, but who knows.

I still think that the popularity of Bloody Mary on the GGD poll will have made her brain explode with ideas of a single she didn't consider. MTN and Scheisse are expected, BM isn't.

Also, she described Bloody Mary on twitter as 'halfway between reality and fantasy' I'm pretty sure.

Nrrrrgh. It's unexpected because it would be a merciless flop. Praying to Buddha, Allah, God, Shiva, et al, that she wises up or her label cock-blocks it because I just cannot see it doing well. I really like it, but as a single?? After what happened with the comparatively subtle (blasphemy-wise) Judas? No.

I agree. It's a wasted single. The more she releases, the less likely Scheisse and/or MTN will smash. Especially if BM flops.

Whilst I appreciate she'd be putting her money where her mouth is, not giving much of a **** about chart success, but it's just unwise.

@slutwhoreputa one of my favorites from BTW but I think it would suffer the same backlash and underperformance as Judas
All might not be lost.

I said the other day I have a feeling it'll be BM but it'll be a flop. Great song but not as a single and she should only release scheisse and MTN from now on

To be honest, the way she is talking about it, it sounds more like MTN will be the next single. The way she talks about how much it means to her and her future, etc, is exactly how she describes MTN's importance in her relationship with New York.

Also, IIRC Interscope have taken more control of single choices after Judas. TEOG was their decision, after all.

I don't think its Bloody Mary. From what Jeff said on Twitter (& he only responds to incorrect info apparently) it sounds like Gaga has a lot less "yes" people around her now - which can only be a good thing.

I think DITD would've been a massive hit but Gaga insisted on Alejandro. Being a realist I can only see scheisse and MTN doing well as singles, the album itself is great but not full of radio friendly commercial pop songs and scheisse is only borderline suitable. I always remember Madonna saying she can't understand why songs like Into The Groove are hits because when she records them she has no comprehension of what will succeed and what will fail and is a terrible judge of which songs will be popular. It sounds like Gaga has a similar affliction and I just hope interscope don't let her do something stupid

Gaga knows how to wrap her fans around her little finger and she is the master of creating hype. BTW the album was hyped to a frenzy for about 6 months and now she's getting people in a tiz over her single choices and is dropping cryptic hints everywhere. She's a tinker

Lady Gaga to Headline Biggest Concert in Radio History

Lady Gaga has been announced to headline the IHeartRadio Music Festival, the biggest live concert in radio history. Other performers include Coldplay, the Black Eyed Peas, Steven Tyler, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, Jennifer Lopez, David Guetta and more.

Hosted by Ryan Seacrest, the two-day festival in Las Vegas is scheduled for September 23rd and 24th and will be streamed live online and via mobile devices.

“This is a once in a generation gathering of artists and fans from all over the country for a true, must-see music event,” Seacrest said. “The iHeartRadio Music Festival will showcase top artists across all genres of music. Listeners from all over America will travel to Las Vegas to celebrate the next generation of iHeartRadio, while seeing the greatest musicians in the world on one stage.”

I think that was a glimpse of the mermaid fish tank from TEOG video. The choreography looks like it was supposed to have glass between them in parts.

Why are people STILL moaning about her not releasing DITD over Alejandro? Alejandro was a smash worldwide. Bloody Mary will do the same, in my opinion.

ScheiBe wouldn't do well in the UK cos radio wouldn't play it, and all the foreign language sounds weird and wouldn't be very accessible to people. It's also got a very weak chorus, and is extremely overrated by her fans in my opinion.

I'm afraid I'm another one in the "Bloody Mary = awful single choice" camp.

I really hope this is not a single, as Radio especially in America won't touch it, like they didn't touch Judas.

In my view she has to release Marry The Night as the next single, as it is crying out for release.

With You & I as the follow up for the USA/UK market, and ScheiBe as the release in Europe where it could be this year's equivalent of Lily Allen's biggest worldwide hit that was not released in the UK/USA http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x9n...al-video_music

Popjustice said on Twitter she was filming the Americano video last week?

I like Bloody Mary but agree radio won't touch it.

I think Heavy Metal Lover would have been a more obvious choice and a massive radio hit.

I agree that BM won't get airplay, especially in the more conservative parts of The States.

I'm gunning for You & I. That would shock people more than any pseudo-political agenda.
