yeah as a video i think Hooker will be fantastic! Yeah that needs a release too, it really grows on re-listen i find! Imagine her dressed like Monroe perhaps and echo old Hollywood meets New Hollywood etc.

Agreed! This better not be another Dance In The Dark!!! This song deserves to be a classic!!!

I think Sheisse needs to be a single. It's so gloriously different to the generic chavvy crap on the charts right now that's considered "dance".

Not sure if she'd get away with it though. She is essentially saying shit 938938 times, and it can't be censored out. The fact it's German might swing it though, kids aren't going to understand it - and they're the ones being theoretically "protected".

Bloody Mary might work as a single, a breather amongst the dance? I'd kill for a video at the very least. Same goes for Electric Chapel.

If Heavy Metal Lover didn't have such filthy lyrics, it could have worked as a single. The beat is killer.

Americano would be amazingly hilarious choice. It would need a camp Telephone 2.0 video.

and yeah Marry The Night possibly as the next single after Edge (which fully won me over after her live show!) and Sheisse and Americano for the summer! Bloody Mary i think will make a slick single release too! in melody and vocals it is so very kinda Kate Bush like meets Madonna Ray Of Light era....kinda Blondie too

(also i must add that by comparing it is the memories they create as songs for me too! not negative!)

Just cannot wait to own the disc and also play the remixes (Sheisse remix looks to be over 9 mins long!!!)”

don't worry, i don't really get any of these similarities because i don't listen to madonna etc :P but yeah i wish scheisse was longer, i loved the remix she did for that mugler show, at the time it just seemed like it was going to be so much different to anything that has come out recently tbh!

i heard that marry the night was originally planned to be the first single from the album, don't know why they changed it :S - i love bloody mary, especially the parts in the verses when her voice changes to like a man (if that makes sense :S)

Well if the rumours of 9 singles is true then she might release all of these!!!

was about to say like on the intro to Madonnas Music, but you dont listen to her honestly!

but yeah thats what i mean by comparisons like it is reflective of Pop across the 90s, the 90s music in general meets kinda 70s punky and late 80s Metal movement!

oh and Highway Unicorn has grown on me!

and 9 singles will be very ambitious, but having heard on Metro a few times now i truly think it is possible!

so yeah we have Born, Judas, Edge as singles and Hair as a promo only

Sheisse, Bloody Mary, Americano (agreed with Telephone 2.0 vid!), Hooker, Marry The Night (yes should have been lead single in some ways....but makes it special that it was not) and Electric Chapel could be future releases!

and yes Heavy Metal Lover reminds me a bit of Janet. kinda smutty but classy era. and that beat is a killer!

can imagine the songs played for a lot of background music on films!

Can't wait either. My only criticism of Scheiße is that it's far too short! It could so easily be built up into a massive epic!

Ok I caved and listened to the d*luxe versions...

Black Jesus + Amen Fashion and Fashion For His Love are much more Madonna than BTW is. She's obsessed with Express Yourself, apparently. Touch of Whitney and Cyndi in there too.

BJ+AF has great beats though. I love how it's a progression/update of Fashion.

Not quite fussed on FFHL. It's being thrown in at the end to not interrupt the flow of amazingness.

The Queen is alright. Another "well it's blatantly clear why this wasn't on the standard."

Does it depend on what mood you're in

The bonus tracks should be called "let's hope I don't get sued if I put this on the Special Edition" tracks.

Hair has grown a lot on me! and also the album has got very impressive reviews thus far for early reviews!

Does anyone else also feel the album feels like a Musical???”

Completely agree with your comment about Scheisse and Americano + major videos = immense.

Edge will be fantastic, I'd love her to record the stripped back version of it too (à la R1BW)

Hair is definitely my favourite track on the album.

I still can't really bring myself to enjoy it. The "We can be strong..." chorus is so NOT Gaga and neither is most of the song. Which isn't to say it's not good, it's just another testament to the range of her talent as a songwriter. It could also help widen her fanbase, but as a huge fan of her other and previous work it just doesn't do it for me.

Yeah I get what your saying I'm kind of a new fan, don't really like a lot of her older stuff, but it's good the album seems to have something for everybody which like you say should widen her fanbase

Give them another shot, please! Don't delete them! They're all amazing; just take longer to grow than others. Promise.

I hope radio would allow it, obviously in Germany it would have to be reworked significantly. The only other option would be to replace the word sheiBe with something else e.g. "I'll take you out tonight, to wherever you'd like, oh won't you just be mine, oh just be mine" .Then when she says it at other points in the song in a different context e.g. "I wish that I could dance without the sheiBe there," it be reworked so that all those lines replace 'the sheiBe there' with 'permission yeah'- which she already sings at some points already in the chorus.
