The Fame just brings back memories of Year 11 for me, most of all when Just Dance and Pokerface were requested to play at our "leaver's ball" in 2009

"The fame" reminds me of summer 2009. Not much happened but good memories.
Talking of which, has anyone read/heard about what Gaga said about the songs she HATES? She apparently Hates ''telephone'' and that time of making it (after Britney rejected it) apparently was very stressful for her. She also says she's not keen on ''money honey''. It was an interview on GGD i read. |

I'm glad she did though otherwise we would not have that video!!! ![]() I've always liked Money Honey as well!!!! ![]()

I've been up and down with the album. I downloaded, listened, hated it, re-downloaded, listened again, liked it. It's not the album of the decade and needs to be listened to a few times to get into it but I think it's a good effort. I wrote her off too quickly.
You've done a good job, Gaga. A very good good job. |

I don't get why you said "listening on Twitter". Since when can you listen to music on it?

Excuse me. I resent that remark. I don't 'look' for similarities between GaGa songs and others. I don't care enough in order to even begin looking for comparisons for a starter. It took me four listens of Black Jesus to make me realise it reminded me of Papi. I just thought I would post an interesting thought I had, there was no conspiracy theory behind it. I think Britney's Criminal sounds like The Logical Song by Scooter. I think The Saturdays Here Standing sounds like Chris Brown and Jordan Sparks' No Air. I think Girls Aloud's The Promise sounds like Blankety Blank. None of them have anything to do with GaGa do they?

I was a massive fan of The Fame and The Fame Monster, however after a few listens of every track on Born This Way, I have not been captured by the music. Everything is too... weird. I know this is Gaga we're talking about, but The Fame Monster was weird without straying too far.
I don't really want to listen to a song in German. The best song on the album sounds exactly like Bad Romance. Every track just seems too... weird to be enjoyable. Maybe that's just me being narrow minded, however I enjoyed the oddness of Alejandro and Teeth. |

she never addressed Cornish
![]() but to be honest i thought the song was pretty shite when i first heard it! but it kinda fits with the album! like American Life for Madonna, kinda wish it wasnt a single release for a title track but it gets the point across well.....but the rest of the album has an entire other personality going on! right - Schiebe, Marry The Night, Americano, Bloody Mary, Electric Chapel, Highway Unicorn, Heavy Metal Lover, government Hooker are THE instant classics for me! I love how people have said they thought TFM was weird....i guess they are tame listeners and only want the commercial stuff! Born This Way is how i wanted her to be! and glad she is this instantaneous with their musical progression! very aggressive and inspired pop album! aaargh hope it arrives tomorrow i wanna see the booklet and review it soon too up there with Pala, Femme Fatale and Passive Me, Aggressive You as one of 2011s biggest albums! ![]() just Stevie Nicks to go and hope Madonna releases her album and my year will be complete!!!!
