Was it not just luck rather than skill that got Jim the extra £10 reduced on the meat purchase? The generosity of the acocuntant rather than negotiation??

Regardless, Susan was an excellent team leader, she organised everyone so they all knew exactly what they were doing, and she was very encouraging. Her only downfall was not realising the price of camomile tea, and let's face it, who does!?

So, just like all the other candidates, then.

Let's be sensible about this: The items are on the list because people are unlikely to know the price of them - or even what they are.

Yep, well thats what I thought, esp with Jim saying about "rapport" etc. The accountant gave into him but the other guy didn't want to. Jim certainly didn't get the £10 off there as easily as he did his other discount with the woman who probably wanted to take him to bed, ha.

I give Jim the credit because another candidate might not have got it. He was persistent.
