Was it not just luck rather than skill that got Jim the extra £10 reduced on the meat purchase? The generosity of the acocuntant rather than negotiation??

Yep, well thats what I thought, esp with Jim saying about "rapport" etc. The accountant gave into him but the other guy didn't want to. Jim certainly didn't get the £10 off there as easily as he did his other discount with the woman who probably wanted to take him to bed, ha.
