Has anybody else noticed it??

Show 2 Preview shown at the end of Show 1 showed her slurring her words infront of Edna and Edna "ceasing control".

Show 3 Preview showed the bit where she said "The item is for a very important client," and is made out to be a bit of an idiot.

Show 4 Preview shows Zoe saying to her, "You've made your bed now you can lie in it" in the middle of the street.

Is this going to be a continued pattern, assuming she stays a while?

Zoe looks like a right cow. I guess she thinks this will impress Sugar?!

It seems most of the girls have it in for Susan - with Melody as ring leader and Zoe, Natasha ane Ellie as wing witches

Well she did do all those things. I don't think she's getting a bad edit.

I did laugh when she said it was for an important client, as if that'd matter to anyone who was selling anything.

I mean in the previews. ^^ In every episode so far there have been so many "lolwut" moments for most of the apprentices, it just seems that Susan doesn't get many 'positive' moments in the 30 seconds promo-videos.

Maybe she has the most 'lolwut' moments? Most of those previews involve people f*cking up in some way- that's usually what gets peoples attention the most.

at least she's being noticed

and she was liked as a team leader, that tends to get people further than the odd boo-boo

Only Edna has it in for Susan

Besides, most of the girls you mentioned arenŽt even on SusanŽs team.

P.S. Surely itŽs obvious from the editing of the trailer which team will win next week

Meh Susan comes over as a right cow to me, have experience plenty of her sort in the City of London. I don't have a problem with her portrayal thus far.

Totally agree with you, the edits are just so blatantly obvious. It seems they try to make her seem like the really silly naive one, yet she's achieved so much more than most of the other candidates at just 21 - www.susanma.com has her bio, its impressive.

You're very easily impressed by fluffy words, she only got a 2:1, and seemingly from that site has never had a proper job; she was only an intern at Citigroup for a few weeks, not a proper employee. The skin care business doesn't impress me at all, a friend of mine similarly set up a skin-care range, and did everything that Ma lists, but while juggling normal jobs at the same time. There are all sorts of suppliers out there that do all the testing, manufacturing, certification and packaging for you, you just pay them.

We'll have to see whether this comment to Susan is really as bad as it looks or if it's just words rolling out of Zoe's mouth in the same way her comments for Natasha did (which seemed to go beyond an opinion of just her performance on the task). While being invisible made Zoe look perhaps timid before, it is obvious that she could well have plenty to say from now on and with plenty of bite.

She's my pick to win, although her edit is far too OTT at the moment.
But she does have a perfect record so far including a win as PM, and she has been praised by THE Nick Hewer.

I think what you are missing is her age. She excelled academically, a 2:1 from UCL is like a first from most other universities. An internship with Citigroup is very hard to get, and you don't know that she didn't get a job there.
Her business is very impressive, starting at 18, she mentioned that she designs and sources all packaging and organises her own manufacturing, she also has a video on her website showing an exhibition she did. She did all this while doing her A-Levels and degree so that she could pay for her own studies and help her mum pay off her mortgage. You cannot say she's unimpressive.

You also left out that she's already bought a London investment property at only 21.

You seem if anything, a bit jealous. Please do share what you or your friends achieved at the age of 21.

Ah Christ, not that lazy argument that some men like to use against women who are skeptical in some way about other women.

I agree with the OP . How come they did not include Natasha's edit asking the Ritz for a list of their suppliers in the last weeks preview which was one of the absurdest things ever and her 'Its a win, win for everyone'

Susan does seem to have a major fan on her side though, Nick and it seems the guys like her too.

No it isn't, it's a 2:1
My first from Imperial College beats it anyway.

An internship with Citigroup is very hard to get, and you don't know that she didn't get a job there.
Yes I do, her website would have said so if she had a proper job there, wouldn't it. Why would she only go on about the internship if she had had a proper job there too? The fact that she doesn't mention any proper jobs at all is very telling to my mind.

Like I said, there are companies that help you with all aspects of bringing out cosmetics/skincare ranges, you can literally do as little as tell them what name to put on the box if you like.

She fails to impress me, I can say she is unimpressive if I want, I'm amazed that people are so taken in by a well-written but actually fairly content-less CV.

You also left out that she's already bought a London investment property at only 21.
So she secured a buy-to-let mortgage? Wooooo.

You seem if anything, a bit jealous. Please do share what you or your friends achieved at the age of 21.
Laughable

Maybe so, I'll give you that. But you perhaps didn't have to run a business alongside it. Besides, UCL is ranked higher than Imperial.

Yes I do, her website would have said so if she had a proper job there, wouldn't it. Why would she only go on about the internship if she had had a proper job there too? The fact that she doesn't mention any proper jobs at all is very telling to my mind.
She graduated at 21, how is it possible for her to already have a proper job? She might have had an offer to continue in that job but probably couldn't take it because of the Apprentice, which by the way is a selection of 16 candidates out of 72,000 that apply.

Like I said, there are companies that help you with all aspects of bringing out cosmetics/skincare ranges, you can literally do as little as tell them what name to put on the box if you like.
There are companies out there that help you develop every single business, but it still takes hard work and a business mind to start your own business. If it was really that easy, and anyone could do it, then we wouldn't have the economic problems we do in this country. She also does list all the things she does, and it seems that she does everything herself rather than contracting another company to do it.

She fails to impress me, I can say she is unimpressive if I want, I'm amazed that people are so taken in by a well-written but actually fairly content-less CV.
Of course you are entitled to your own opinion. I just happened to be very surprised as she is hands down the most impressive 21 year old in my opinion. When I was 21, all I had was a degree from Cambridge and a huge student debt, never helped my parents with any bills, let alone mortgages.

So she secured a buy-to-let mortgage? Wooooo.
It's something that most youngsters don't even consider doing. She's very mature to be investing at such a young age. No doubt she will go far.

You've completely avoided my question of what you achieved at 21. Regardless it really seems as though you are hard to impress, and I respect that. But accusing someone of 'fluffing' up their CV when everything is stated as fact, and undermining their achievements when you have no reason to, is laughable in my eyes.

Because it's utterly irrelevant, she's the one that's put herself up for public scrutiny, not me. Much the same as I don't have to be an oscar-winning actor myself to have a view on whether I find Gwynneth Paltrow convincing or not, or need to be a Michelin-starred chef to have an opinion on whether Heston cooks appetising food.

It's not irrelevant, everything is relative, if you don't think something is impressive, then surely you think something else is more impressive, my question was merely for you to name a 21 year old that is more impressive than she is, since you seem so unimpressed by her. And it seems it's not you.
You are right that you don't need to be a Michelin starred chef to judge food, but you are not judging her produce, i.e. commenting on whether her skin care products feel good on your skin. But you are undermining the achievements of a clearly talented young lady, dismissing them as something anyone could have done. More like saying that Gwynneth Paltrow or Heston's fame as an actress and chef respectively is no big deal and easily attainable.

I just feel the need to stick up for her in this instance because I think she's an inspiration to young people. And her achievements should be encouraged and congratulated, not criticised and undermined.

I agree actually - she's done a hell of a lot more than I had at 21, and I wouldn't have known how to conduct myself in business at that age either. Admittedly her people skills seem to be where she falls down a little but that's because she's been thrown in with a pack of vultures and everyone wants to win (or at least make everyone else look bad, so they are safe).

I find Susan to be far more likeable than Edna, Melody, Ellie etc. and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her. Putting everyone in the team in charge of sourcing an item was a good move and although they made some mistakes as a team I think she did a good job as PM.

I fear she will get lynched at some point soon though

I think you're right. She's far too nice and might get walked on. I was surprised she didn't bring up in the boardroom the fact that her team members made the call to go to expensive places when she asked them to head east. She really needs to stick up for herself more if she is going to go far. But still my favourite candidate, I just like that she's not egotistical like the others.

Its a bluff, she'll come across as dumb in the previews but will do the total opposite in the episode and even win a task as PM.

The Apprentice seems to do this alot.

What has that got to do with a business show

Likeability will get you nowhere in the business world and I doubt that Lord Sugar will see that as good point about her (only thing he cares about is if she has an impressive track record on the show)
