She's already won a task as PM.

What difference does a bad edit make though? It's not as though we're voting.

As I understand it, these shows happened ages ago and the winner's already been decided so the edits are just for our amusement and don't prejudice the contestants at all.

I agree that Lord Sugar will care about how impressive a candidates track record is on the show. But surely likeability is very important in business. Who would want to do business with someone you don't like? When you're a managing director, in order to obtain authority and respect, you need your staff to like and enjoy working for you if they are going to do a good job. You also need your suppliers and customers to like you if you want them to continue doing business with you.

I'd say all the snobby, arrogant people who are not likeable at all will not go far in the process nor make it far in business.

Most of the previous winners are not known for being likeable.

You mean Jim won the task that she happened to be PM for, with the crucial £10 discount he secured on the steak - her tea antics VERY nearly undid that.

If you're going to take that tack, then you can say lots of people who were PM of the winning team didn't win a task as PM. Fact is, she was PM and her team won.

They had 9 items, it wasn't all down to the steak. Susan got £20 off the cloth, £500 off the tea and they only paid £40 for the signage, and im sure there's other negotiations that weren't shown. At the end of the day, it could be down to any one of those items, not just the steak.

I love Susan, she's adorable. I hope she does well

I like Susan, but they are editing it to make her look a little ditzy when I dont think she is. I think she will do quite well.

I like Susan. I don't think it is bad editing. She does say those things and in the situations they were in, they were particularly bad.

She does make good television though! I love her ditzy lines.

Personally I think she acted a bit like a petulent child in today's episode! You can't go round setting yourself up for such a big fall without something to back it, and I really don't think she gave any demonstration of that today.

She's done a lot of "lolwut" things though. I really don't understand why people think her or Edna are very good candidates.

The other team paid less for the sign and cloth. Getting £500 off the tea wasn't a coup, it was stupid to even stay talking to that lady.

They are both terribile the likes of Zoe and Natasha will take them apart in the boardroom

The only idiot there was the small business owner, what poor customer service, that lady came across like she lives with 8 cats and hasn't had sex in 10 years.

If I was spoken to like that by a shop assistant, I would have walked.. but obviously they don't have that luxury they have to buy for the task

She definitely should have been on the firing list this week and yet again was extremely lucky to be saved purely by virtue of the other team managing to be worse. The only thing that the irritating and wildly naive woman seems to be good at is dodging bullets.

I'm reserving judgement on Susan. Yep she loaded the gun to fire the bullets at herself last night and of course her public ticking off in the middle of a task was always going to make great telly. However Nick was very impressed with her and said so publicly. This is always a good pointer - IMO of course

Susan was over confident in this task, clearly it wasn't all down to her numbers, it was down to how good the location is, the product they were selling, the people they were selling to and the strength of the sales team. She clearly didn't recognise that, I checked on her website : www.tropicskincare.com she doesn't even sell tanning products!

She was good in identifying what two products would sell and also getting the tanning products which was the winner. But she really put herself up for a classic apprentice moment.

She should have kept quiet and just blended in the background like the others.

The last person who went, went because he tried to blend into the background. I think if she'd blended into the background on a task where she was supposed to be the expert it would have been a great excuse to blame any failure on her for not speaking up!

Susan is now very visible, some good some downright silly. The other women just bore me to death this series. Melody was quite visible in the first week and then disappeared in the background. Zoe should consider a career as a hypnotherapist. She certainly has that gift with the way she looks and talks.

That's true, I hope more get fired for not doing enough. It seems that she was set for a lose lose situation!

I've no doubt she'd have been taken in by Zoe had they lost. She might have been fired, but I wouldn't assume that. Her mistake was one of over-estimating what they could sell, but she hadn't pulled her figures out of her arse; she'd calculated what they'd have to sell an hour and it did sound feasible. Nick likes her a lot, and that would weigh with Lord Sugar, and he supposedly has a soft spot for the younger contestants and is inclined to be generous to them.

People have escaped firing when they were far guiltier than Susan (Jenny Celerier in the laundry task, Laura in the second task last year).

I don't think Susan can win now. None of the other winners have had an edit this negative.

Dangerously similar to Felicity's mistake in that they weren't there to sell the products but treatments. That said I did find the whole 'lets all stand around and point out Susan's mistake' unnecessary and a bit nasty.
