Title says it all, gf's parents have had the box a few years and recently got an HDTV to which the box is connected by scart.

Just wondering if there are older boxes without HDMI or not?

Hello Hypnos - yes the Vision box has an HDMI socket.

The picture quality is upscaled if you select the 720p or 1080i output setting and it can be quite good for Freeview. HD Films are fantastic quality in 1080i setting.

Hope they enjoy it.

My Vision box is well over 3 years old and I've got it connected by HDMI. It's a much better picture on freeview than my other freeview sources.

Every BT Vision box (silver or black) has an HDMI output.

Thanks guys, just wanted to know before I suggest to them to connect it up via HDMI. Scart looks a bit poop on an HDTV im sure you'll agree.
