The brass plaque
Now we all saw the brilliant negotiating tactics from Natasha, slowly bartering her up until Vincent stepped in and ruined it for her (
)I understood they paid £40 upfront, and to come back at 3pm to pick ti up and pay the other £40. But then later on, when they were going through the things they hadn't brought, they mentioned not having time to pick up the plaque. I'm guessing they got the fine for that. But would they have got anything knocked off for what they had already paid? What i mean is: The fine was list price +£50. Let's say the list price was £80, then the fine would have been £130. Did they have that added onto the total ALONG with the £40 they had ALREADY paid as deposit, or did they just have the difference (ie: £90) Because if it's the former (which I suspect it was), then they would have been better off not trying for the plaque in the first place - they would have won! |
