There has been a massive decline in quality. The new "comedian" is barely entertaining.

I actually think it's a lot better without $imon and don't want him to come back. He's too predictable and way too easily lead by a certain young singer on another show. He's not Mr.Nasty anymore and he's not really that upfront anymore.

I like the refreshing change and Michael often says thing that are going through my head whilst watching some of the acts! I thought I'd hate it because I really don't find comedians funny, but Michael's doing a good job - I don't approve of a lot of the 'comedy' acts that have gone through though - the bell ringer :yawn: embarassing dancing mother, a granddaughter exploiting her grandad to get noticed! that is a new low! And many, many more that have gone through.

The problem this year is the same as last - too many 'novelty' acts which are neither funny or entertaining! I've heard from people that went to watch aome of the auditions and they've all said there was a lot of talent. So they are just not showing it and prefer to show rubbish instead! They only have themselves to blame for the way they edited the show!

Michael is brilliant, though they could get rid of the Hoff. I actually think the standard has been good.

Does anyone here worry about the judges really? They just say yes or no, the producers know who they want in the semis/final and you can be sure that is what will happen - otherwise there mayb not be the mix of acts that appeal, eg imagine 10 singers or 5 dancers and 5 magic acts.

Nothing to do with Cowell but it's been awful as the *talent* has been extremely poor. I can't remember a single act so far this year which doesn't bode well

You may find out that they will have reveals for live semi-finals, there is usually more talent than dead wood gets through.
