What's going on with Leona Lewis?
Have just been reminding myself of how talented this girl is by watching her old x-factor performances on youtube, and they never fail to amaze me. Mind blowing. I hope she's not going to be another one to become forgotten - she is much too special for that. Why haven't we heard anything for so long?

Her entire second album era was boring and the sales reflected that.

I loved Echo and her tour was brilliant.
She's working on her third album which will be out this year. Don't worry, she'll be snatching wigs soon .

I know, but it's such a shame that apart from her debut she really hasn't seen the success that millions expected and anticipated for her. We all thought she was going to be a superstar, and she has the talent for it, so what's going wrong? Is it the record label or management? Both? I agree that with her second album, the songs just weren't good enough.

They're probably to used to people like Westlife and Susan Boyle who don't show any growth and just do covers all the time. |

Don't worry. Simon's just waiting for the US X Factor to start so he can re-promote her over there using the show

I thought her debut was terrible and the follow up was amazing, and the third can only get better.

I suppose it could be, but a person with her natural talent DESERVES to have the right backing behind her to ensure that she does put on a good show. They should be getting her the best producers, choreographers and creative directors in the business so that she can use it to full potential. OK, she might not naturally be a good dancer (we don't really know!) but she can learn how. Everyone loved her when she was on the X-Factor and even then her performances were pretty much all about the voice, so what's changed? I think she definitely has the potential to be huge but unfortunately her people haven't tapped into it properly yet.

Well her last public appearance made her look like one of the Haus Of Gaga stylists had been invited on to a random morning show to dress a model by only being giving a limited budget to show to the high street and dress her by the end of the show..

Leona Lewis just has no personality unlike Madonna, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Shakira etc she comes across as very dull plus lack of promo.

i don't think we have seen the last of her. people say that she is boring, i think she is just down to earth. grounded.
she has an amazing talent and with the right direction she could be a major star. she probably should change her record label if she gets the opportunity though. |

I hope people don't think she's completely disappeared or something. All she's got to do is comeback with a hit when she releases later this year and she'll sell a lot of albums I reckon. |

Wouldn't right her of though, but I imagine there's a bit of sweating going on if she's gone for a more upbeat edgier image with Adele selling so well on just playing to her strength, her voice. |

From what we've heard, the next album era may be starting to happen very soon, there have be a lot of tweets recently about Leona rehearsing for something and that something will be "coming soon", so I would say we should hear something official within a month, with the lead single surfacing in under two months.
