I'd just like to thank the BBC for ruining the Apprentice result for me.

I loaded up the iplayer to watch the show last night that I missed and what's the image on the player? Well it's this:

It was obvious to me in seconds, with no one standing behind them that that group of people had lost the task.

Next time it would be great if they could choose a different thumbnail.

Isnt it also annoying when "your fired" lasts until 10.32.....you want to watch "Newsnight", having recorded apprentice, you switch over and see the loser!

Isn't 'click to resume' to start from where you paused it? You must have done something before.

I took the screenshot after watching the ep, but go check the iplayer for yourself, it'll show that pic as the thumbnail. It was the same throughout.

You are right the checked it out and it is clear who has lost the task. What are they going to do next. Not the brightest bunch of people are they?

Did you make this suggestion?

Reminds me of an old video tape I used to own, a film called Nightmare on the 13th Floor.

On the back, one of the images shows one of the main characters (who turns out to be the killer) wielding an axe. It's like they wanted people to not bother watching

It reminds me of The Office (UK) boxset in which it includes a picture of Dawn and the other guy who's name I forgot kissing on the back of the box. It really annoyed me when I saw it because a lot of the show is built around that tension.

Its the same for programmes that trailer the next episode at the end of the current one, like Desperate Housewives. You have to quickly switch over at the end of the episode otherwise you get a trailer giving away the story and ruining any cliffhangers.

They didn't have that image when it was first uploaded. I always watch it on iPlayer at about 00:00, so maybe that image hadn't loaded.

They should remove it.
