Ste is a good enough character that they might have got it right for once. I think its a bit of a shame that they weren't willing to take a risk but maybe its for the best.”

Corrie's attempt at it was laughable too...

I think they could have really pulled it off with Ste, but then maybe that was in their original plans before, well, before everything took off so spectacularly for the storyline.

I love this part:

"Whether Ste and Noah’s relationship will be able to survive the meddling of Double B remains to be seen, but I for one hope that it won’t. No offence to Noah, but he’s never going to match up to the brilliance of twisted Brendan. And isn’t it about time Ste set his lovely boyfriend free to be with someone who’s actually capable of loving him back?"

ETA: I don't agree with the lovely boyfriend part. Noah's a tw*t.”

Thanks for posting that.
haha I love that article. So pro-brendan!

He definitely manipulates people to protect himself and stop them from getting too close to him because as he's said before, he always hurts the people he loves, who then equally hurt him back.

But I don't think that when he started using his 'techniques' on Ste that he would fall for him and vice versa and that it would get this far. And now he has no idea what to do and how to get him back so he's using the only thing that he knows and that has worked before and is now manipulating his way back into Ste's life.

Wow, that was a long post, sorry for that.”

great post. I think you've got right into Brendos messed up little head here.

LOL
Every time I think about that door scene a smile creeps over my face. Why did they actually keep that in the episode? Just why??
Must have been for the laughs surely.

Awww.
That makes me think of that little conversation he had with Amy/Rae (can't remember which one ) When he was talking about abandonment and saying something like "the person who loves me, are they gonna stay or are they gonna go..?"

Poor thing just wants to push everyone away before they get the chance to push him away.
