IMO, I think Aaliyah would be balancing a very successful movie career with her music. She already had 3 films associated her by the time she died - Romeo Must Die, Queen Of The Damned and she was linked to The Matrix. She was obviously really into the acting so I think she would have definitely continued down that route and would be very much an accomplished actress by now.
Music was her first love so no doubt she would still continue to release albums too. It's impossible to think how her music would have evolved over the years but I imagine Aaliyah would be the one setting the bar for all the others to follow. All the top producers would be falling over themselves to work with her.
