Wobbie.

At first this child seemed almost younger than his 7 years the way he spoke at the beginning Then he was almost way older than 7 like 70.

Regardless of that he could'nt sing a note.

Not sure why he got through.

I thought it was quite charming that he sang Sinatra.

Other than that, he was crap and sounded like every other 7 year old that yearns for popstardom. Of course he's 7, so he obviously goes through by default.

His parents made him practice his sickly cute act!

Its hard to criticise a 7 year old and even harder for judges not to put them through.

The way he'd been told to speak to Louis about his Auntie needing a boyfriend was so rehearsed it was cringeworthy.

I have no criticism of the child's singing - but pushy parents I loathe.

Not sure he had 'talent' but he had personality and confidence in bucket loads....his future may not be in singing but Wobbie will be a star in whatever field he ends up in.

I am sorry i disagree with you he was not adorable at all(as some other posters have said he was a bit creepy)l i know he is only 7 but i dont think his singing was good and
i cringed at his pre-planned question to Louis , but then again i blame his pushy parents for it all.

Aww, I thought he was really sweet! I do agree that he wasn't the best singer, but since when does this show really care about that lol

I'm sure there were many more talented singers who auditioned, just like there was when Susan Boyle appeared. However, they probably didn't make for "good ratings".

He was rubbish!

The pushy mum was really embarrassing. As was the other desperate woman - I assume she's the aunt. Her outfit Looked like Miss Haversham out on the pull

Fair enough he was only 7, he was confident but I dont think his singing was good (way off key/ out of time on the "For what is a man" part - cringeworthy)

His audition should have been shown, but he shouldn't have got through.

exploitation by the parents. As soon as he's old enough pressurise him into going on BGT. I'm sure they are now talk of their town and have done a nice piece for the newspaper showing how charming and down to earth the 7 year old is.

Very classy.

BGT should have an age restriction.

He was talented, and looked like he loved being on the stage.

I wouldn't class over-confidence as a talent, just bad parenting as it's setting a kid up for a fall.

I don't think he was as dire as some people are saying but he did lose the tune and the timing and there was nothing special about his performance.

Have to say I'm with you all the way there. I personally find it hard to warm to over confident, precocious kids at the best of times. This one was a prime example.

I didn't think he had the talent to back up his self belief either.

I liked him, he wasn't over-confident, he was just a loveable little boy and although he wasn't an amazing singer, he had a good voice for his age and was cute.
