that simon cowell coming back can somehow save this show.
Im sorry to burst anyone's godlike image of mr cowell but hes not this music/talent mogul everyone on ITV etc makes him out to be. He's just the face of the operation the real brains are all his assistants etc.
Secondly. Simon's original selling point was his "bluntness and openness in telling the truth and being harsh". Well sorry but I didnt even see that from him originally. What he used to say when he broke on the scene like 8 years ago was nothing revolutionary or special.
But lets pretend for a second he was this "no holds barred judge". He certainly isnt like that now.
So to sum up. Thinking simon is "deeply upset with the talent this year and wants to change things" is rubbish. Thinking anything would have been different with simon there in the auditions when its the producers who find people and pre judge them.
