I thought it was supposed to be not very good too. But nearly every time I have seen it there have been genuinely reasonable items on it. Also some truly very good things (see science experiment stuff above).

The last time I saw it was a bit odd. Randy Newman was the guest (which in itself is a good thing) and they showed him that they had painted his face on a beach in the sand with brooms. It was enormous. I have no idea what it was about because I only caught the last few minutes. I don't think Randy could quite believe what he was looking at. I think that's good TV.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's announced this year; three years is the modal length and they'll probably be talking contracts again soon — though the lure of one more year to be around for the 50th and the fact that Tennant did four years make me rate it as quite improbable.

That's me told! I did quite like randy newman face in the sand. And the history and science things (the history of the first aeroplane was a recent one - not the wright brothers). I dont like the silly things. Except for running over custard which was also "science"
