No mention of the 'RTE' T2 mux some NI transmitters are supposed to be getting ?
Also, interesting it's not yet appeared on Ofcom's website !

A spokesperson for UTV (one of the directors) has just confirmed on UTV live that switchover in the province will start in the middle of next year (June ?) and will be completed by the end of 2012.
Not sure if he was referring to the Ofcom report above or a new one.
The UK Free date of March 31st for Divis does seem somewhat pessimistic.

They never do. The Granada one didn't make a single mention of Channel M, I'm not even sure if the DigitalUK trade newsletters mentioned it.
My list says the following transmitters are due to get it:
Brougher Mountain
Black Mountain
Carmoney Hill
This is obviously subject to change, and the frequencies haven't been announced either.

But where's Divis ?
Is Black Mountain the low powered relay or will it be higher power and cover greater Belfast and beyond ?
Organised confusion all round it would seem.
I would have thought most viewers in the Brougher Mountain reception area would get Saorview from either Cairn Hill or Clermont Cairn..
Last time I stayed in that area Cairn Hill analogue was perfect.

This is not new information - some is outdated,
The answer about saorview boxes ís very bad advice for NI.
Always get a FreeviewHD box in NI - for UK HD, for UK SD, for ROI overspill and for the new mini DVB-T2 mux for RTE/TG4.
With DVB-T2 available for £30 and up - DVB-T is only being broadcast until existing DVB-T boxes are a little older and can be replaced without to much noise.
